Hi
I started of by self medicating for 2 weeks.

After the 2 weeks I went to see a doctor and she sent me for lab testing:
The lab tests read the following levels:
Estrogen: [snip]
Testosterone: [snip]

The doctor then put me on a dosage of Estradiol and
Spironolactone. (3 months)

Now after 3 months I went for another lab test.
The results were the following:
Estrogen: [snip]
Testosterone: [snip]

After seeing the results now the doctor decided to keep me on the same dosage
Estradiol and Spironolactone.

So you think this is an ok dosage, or should I tell her to raise my
Spironolactone prescription?
I ask that because I hear that many start of on a dosage of [snip] Spironolactone
and then gradually raise it.

Thank you for your help and sugestions :)

Shaiya

We cannot discuss specific dosages in public here.

Body chemistries are too different to make internet assessments on.

The most I can rightly say is that the first dosage of spiro that my doctor gave me turned out to be my limit for spiro; my body could not tolerate more without dangerous side effects. The dosage was also sufficient -- after 10-ish months the amount of T I had left was not worth measuring.

Your doctor is making informed judgements. If you have questions, ask her.

Hi Shaiya

As has been said the only person advising you on dosages is your doctor.

There are too many variables for anyone to give you a well informed answer.

Things like this should always be left to the medical profession.
