wow i have come a long way since the start of the new year. i am seeing a therapist for my transgender issues. i am 3 months into electrolysis. i am 3 weeks into HRT with estradiol and spironalactone. i have started on the paleo diet and lost 25 pounds in 3 weeks. i went from 180 lbs to 155 lbs and am aiming to get down to 145 lbs in 2 more weeks and exercise to keep it off. i have come out to my family and my friends. i have posted my personal story on my facebook and on my blog and have received nothing but good wishes. i have discussed my gender dysphoria with my bosses at both my jobs and they seem cool about it. i have discussed my situation with my son who is the love of my life and he will need time to adjust but he supports me and is my pride and joy. my wife is coming around. i told my friends. i am dressing and going out more. i have finally accepted the fact that i am a male to female transsexual and i am now transitioning and planning srs and ffs. i am working out a plan to also fund my son's college and i am working to get my finances in order and my life insurance in place. i am preparing for my life as a woman and easing this in with my family, my employer, my friends and all my business contacts. it will happen and i am so happy now! i am also grateful for all the girls here for their love and support and for their encouragement and shared experiences. i am finally going to live the dream. not the millionaire dream but the dream i had since i was a 4 year old. i will finally be free. i will be a girl!

Hi Emmi,
Good to hear from you. And you sound so clear. You are doing great, wow 25 pounds, that is amazing. I will google Paleo Diet. I struggle to stay at 170, and I am starving myself, well not really, I eat and am always working.
I was watching Romeos, a recent German film about a young college age, FtM transexual. it is a good movie, and powerful in my eyes.
Anyway I have to get back to it.(work)
I am so proud of you(hugs Emmi tightly, but not too tightly, just right Big Smile:)

Congratulations Emmi. It is personally very heartening to me as I'm a few months behind you.
I don't know about you, but I just feel a whole sense of relief. Yes I'm not there and yes it will take some time, but at least I am heading the right way and I will get there as soon as I can.
Here's to our dreams Emmi :hugs:

Looks like you have all green lights ahead. You may call it "slowly and surely" but I see it really moving along.
Good luck and godspeed.
