I will put a new profile picture up soon.
some of you I did miss while I was moving and homeless for the last little while but I now live my life as Michelle full-time and have never been so happy in my life and finally at peace with me. I hope that others can walk out with out fear and lead the way with me.
love Michelle

Great article and quite sensitively written as well. :hugs:
You might not have noticed the recent absence of our resident Grinch, so in the interests of balance I will point out that she would have criticised you for allowing your story to be in the press and that I would have disagreed with her about that.

I do not let the negative people bother me anymore. They have bigger issues going on in thier lives. For me I am proud of who I am and no longer ashamed of something I was born with.

Your story came up on one of the facebook feeds I subscribe to, pretty cool. Transition at a prison has got to be one of the harder places, you have amazing courage, you come across as very confident in the article, they were very respectful in writing it. Wish you all the best :)

Congratulations on your transition! As someone who has spent a lot of time carrying the keys your announcement to the inmates was spot on. Never give up the upper hand.
