Just wondering how many of us have favorite places to go or things to do while dressed? This time of year brings out all the festivals, fairs, rodeos ect., and my fave is our town festival.

It’s been a while (9 mo) since I have ventured out as Debra but the stars aligned and the sun was smiling, my daughter and g-son are working and our town festival started on Thursday and lasts until Sunday. On Friday I went to my business and everything was quite - the phone wasn’t ringing - my employees are off for the day and it was noon so I decided to call it a day also. My wife called to meet for lunch as she had desk duty at the gym until early evening. Well she asked, what I was going to do all day,--hummm er maybe Debra can have a little pretty time. Yeah, Ok whatever! What time do you think you’ll be home?, she ask - she just wanted the coast to be clear and I said I would call but would not be late and I had my boy bag with me. We finished lunch - she goes to work I go home for a transformation.

I got dressed in some casual fair going type of attire (pics will be posted in gallery) and selected a pink sweater of my wife’s to wear, then took a pic and sent it to her and ask if it was all right to borrow it - yes she text me then said don’t park too close as everyone knows the car -- we swapped at lunch (Debbie don’t drive a truck!)

On the way to the park I drove by my business and saw my worker had come to finish a project, later he said he saw me ( he’s aquainted with Debra) he thought about going to the park to see me but did’nt want to out me - he is very recognizable and people may put two and two together
What a stress relief -- it felt so good to be out of the box (so to speak ) I parked and walked a few short blocks to the park.

After seeing all the booths and buying some kettle corn from one of my customers who did not realize who she was talking to and getting an ice cream sandwich I watched some elementary school kids put on a dance performance on stage - so far its been a good day and felt so right.

I left and headed home but on the way stopped in at my morning coffee spot. I walked in and the half dozen or so that were there were all busy on there lap tops - I was a little nervous but thought if the girl that serves me coffee every day was there I would make my self known as she saw my pic on my phone last week when I accidently left it there and ask “who the lady on your phone?”
I said we would talk. I slipped into the bathroom to check myself out - and I am sorry I can’t help it the pink fog was so thick it was hard to see in the mirror but damn I looked good (really thick pink fog) my confidence soared so I went out to find her ---- but alas she had gone home for the day but I got an iced tea from another gorgeous sweet young baristia and went to sit in my usual big comfy chair and read the paper for a few minutes.

My wife called and wondered where I was. I told her the coffee shop but I had gotten her some kettle corn “well bring me some” she said. I made a short drive to the gym and went in - she was at the desk and said there was only one man in the back working out. I asked her if I looked OK “yes and the sweater goes nice with what you have on “ I thanked her gave her, gave her quick kiss and told her I would see her at home

Hope I haven’t rambled on too long. I will post pics in the gallery - nothing really special except to me - I looking forward to Aug. as I have another fair I want to go to -- the wait has been worth it . What about all of you do any of you have special events you wait for to be en femme and out in the masses ?? …………………….Debra

P.S my wife comented that it looked my hair looked like a wig -- what do you think?

What a beautiful day, Debra!

Give your wife an extra hug (and give the pink sweater back!).

Hugs,

I so loved reading your day at the town's festival. Was there a special theme to the festival or just a good old town festival celebrating the summer?

To answer your question, I tend to excitingly look forward to going enfemme to several local festivities and alike events. The festival that is a highlight of my summer crossdressing wanderings is the annual Folklorama, which starts :eg::eg: this Sunday and goes for 2 weeks. I've been going to this huge festival enfemme every year since the summer of 2005. Folklorama is the largest and longest running multicultural festival in the world. I have fond childhood memories of Folklarama, so crossdressing to it makes it that much more special.

The theme this year was "Lets all Go to the Drive-In" We have one of the few operating Drive-In theaters and has been owned bu three generations of the same family - this was the theme of the parade on Sat. the entries throw candy as they pass the crowd on the parade route - a fun time for all with carnivel and bands, lots of local participation.........................Debra
