Hi all,
It has been a while but for those of you who remember me I am back! It has been a very long, hard journey up to this point. For those that don't, I am gay (MtF Trans who is attracted to women), I am 28, a military vet, and had a long hard road up to this point like many of you on these forums.
Although I have not posted very much, I have actively read these forums almost daily , and although it is said quite often, I honestly cannot tell you ladies how much this forum has done for me. It has helped me tremendously in so many ways from learning to be happy with myself, to learning how to go about starting my transition in the safest way possible.
Well today I make a post with great news. After months of therapy and going from doctor to endo to labs etc, I FINALLY got my scripts today and have taken my first dose towards becoming the real me. I cannot put into words the happiness that I finally feel today. For those of you who feel like there is no hope and that getting HRT is a long shot, just stick with it and do your best to strive through the dark times because I felt the same way and here I am. Today is my day!
Anywho, this was just to inform everyone that I finally got my scripts today and to thank each and every person who has taken the time from their lives to share there story and offer advice as it has helped me in more ways than I can tell you. To my dearest friends whom I have never met, I love you all.
Jess
