Does anyone have any good tips for losing a few pounds in the right places. I gave up smoking last year and despite not eating any more, I now have a few more soft bits than I had before.

I have been prompted into action by not being able to fit into a dress that I loved to wear last year - I was gutted.(and I wondered why women always moaned about diets, etc!)

I have never had to worry about this before, the only exercise I needed was putting on mascara, so any advice would be most welcome.

I have had wonderful luck with the South Beach Diet. The first two weeks are tough, but then it gets much easier.

Get the book and cookbook. The meals are very tasty. I initially lost about 15 pounds and have kept off 10.

I plan on attacking it again after summer ends for the next ten pounds.

Good luck.

Thanks Amber. I am quite fussy with food but I will try most things to get back in my LBD!

I swim as well since I can't run anymore. Very little of what I do in the pool actually require a lot of arm exerise then again I can't do freestyle without a lot of pain. I have about a half hour workout I do in the deepend of the pool what involves various ways to tread water that work out different parts of the body.
