Tonight was my first time out en femme. It only took me a little more than 3 hours to get ready, not too bad for my first time.

OMG, I was so nervious, I waited until everyone in my little apartment were in their rooms and the people accross the street were in their apartment. Then I walked to a gay bar that was only over a block, in was nerve racking walking on the crosswalk with a bar only a few doors up with a bunch of people outside it. I passed a few other people on the sidewalk but they did not stare me down, I am sure they knew even in the darkness or at least that is what I felt. But like many people say on this site confidence means alot.

Had no problems walking in high heels of course, plently of practice there. lol
I really wished I had a camera, I wore a purple outfit , jacket and skirt with dark purple hh shoes and some purple glassess and short black hair. Of course my nails were done as well.

There was a drag show of sorts on at the club and meet a another cd there who was very friendly and we talked most of the evening. We did dance a little but she wanted to go for somethiing to eat afterwards and I said I had enough experiences for one night . She could not believe this was my first time out and compliented me on my look.

If I never do this again, I am glad I did this tonight. When I was leaving the bar a girl out side the bar look me in the eyes and smiled a really nice warm smile. That really made my night.

I think I will do this again, wow, I can not believe I actually did this. Right after taking off my make up I wanted to share this experience with you girls.

I will be able to sleep in tomorrow :)

Congratulations Cindy!

Welcome to the world! You are to be commended for your courage and for seeing it through.

It is a very exciting experience and I am so glad that you had a good time.

I'm sure you'll be doing it again, but please, please turn on your girl streetsmarts as you slip on those heels and stay safe!

Hugs,
Persephone.

That is a very good first experience. You did quite a bit for a first time and I am glad it went very well.

Of course you will be sleeping in. Probably because you will be up so long not being able to get to sleep! :heehee:

My first out I was really nervious just dressed to blend not stand out well went to casino and after first hour got so relaxed no glances or stares almost for got I was dressed. Played several games, a few drinks at bar even met somes girls and had some girl talk no problems feel I won more than money.

Thanks for all the supportive and lovely comments. The bar is called Centretown Pub, I just moved to Ottawa last week so really do not know anyone around here and left my flat around midnight so I am not as brave as some of you may think I am.

Still can not believe I actually did this, I would never dream of doing this where my family lives as everyone knows me. There are some advantages to living unknown in a new city and I did dress to blend in.

The bar staff where pretty use to a wide range of situations and serving cds was not out of the ordinary. During the day called the bar up before hand to ensure it was cd friendly. I am not gay but thought this would be a safe place for my first time out and did not wanted to be stared at the entire time.

It is funny like some have mentioned you do have to be careful especially dressed as a woman, was walking accross a open well light parking lot on my way to the bar and three big biker type guys that came out of the gay bar were walking the other way, I was scared but they did not give me a second glance. If I had to run the high heels would have to come off pretty quick. lol
