Hi I'm Tamara,

I'm in PA. I'm new to dressing for about 9 months - 1 year - kinda of tried it before that - but not much.

I ususally stay in. im 6'0", 190, 42ch and 38 waist. I've been working on my image slowly. i'm too worried to go out in regular stores so far. My interest in most in girdles ( for my waist), heels , and clothing that fits and covers (since i'm hairy..all over)

Over the last few months I found a couple sites that seem to be great.
1. www.suddenlyfem.com.... they seem to have a lot of styles in clothing that cover - and they make it for TV's. Nice heels too. They are very helpful and on time when i need a certain time for delivery.

2. www.thefantsasygirl.com.... Sophie is so nice and helpful. She does a lot of suggesting and has sent me some nice cincher styles that were not online.

So i was hoping t get some information about places that I can shop that have clothing that is longer and made for TV's. i tried to get things from women's sites - but they never fit right...the skirts (at size 18) are too hippy and baggy and the tops are way to tight and definitely short in the arms.

So where have you girls found styles other sites that do nice styles with coverage? ( for the hairy girl..ha ha).

I'd love to get more styles - i have some nice things from the two above sites, but have not seen anythign close ot this out there anywhere. Maybe i need to put something else in google??

THANKS!

Tamara

Hi Tamara, welcome to the club, thanks for the links...

I do most of my shopping at local stores, like Dots or even Kohls....
Have shopped online at Newport News

One of the problems with online boutiques that cater exclusively to the transgendered community is price. Although they are discreet, and the quality is acceptable in most cases, once they slap the label that they accomodate crossdressers, the price goes way up.

Hi Marla,

Gosh, I didn't think 30 something for a top or skirt seemed high. Is that a bad price for tops and skirts? That's all i paid there (suddenlyfem)....seemed the same price if not less as other places that sell women's things.

So do you know of any other sites that might have longer sleeved fashions comparable? i have a 35 arm inseam and nothing is ever close from regular girl sites.

Hopefully someone knows - i looked

Regards

Hi Tamara,

You could go to second hand stores and put the items in your cart and stop in the mens wear and pick out a couple of pairs of pants nad shirts to hide the female attire you want to try on. This is how I started, now I just carry it in. Very few people ever notice, usually its kids who notice but it's worth it as the clothes are usually in good condition for very little money. I have a whole closet and a dresser full and most have been bought this way!:D ;)

eek

Go out and buy stuff. Oh no. ha ha. And i have a feeling that if i do, it will never cover my arms anyway. I have a long arm inseam - and don't want short sleeves for now...longer sleeves look nice and keep everything nice and pretty.

i would hate to buy lots of <even chaper priced> items only to have to ditch them or throw them out anyway. I kind of like the " made to fit me" thing at some online stores.

Ever find any besides the ones i mentioned. I was hoping to maybe go for a more conservative, like fitted suit style - but don't want to spend on returns too much.

Regards

Tamara
