Ok ladies when you get the urge to put something on and you only have a few minutes, what is it. For me it is high heels. I just love how they make me feel, just slip of my boy shoes and in a second I can have some strappy heels or wedges on. A quick fix so to speak.:heehee:

In addition, all my jeans are women's, most of my shoes, lots of tops, so when I'm not working I'm in something nice.

I'm like CherylT - most of my things come from the Ladies Dept where ever I shop anyway. Plus, getting "comfortable" and too tall a heel to me don't mix so if i want to feel "girly" I have nice pair of black patent 2" heel Maryjane's that I slip on. Now for the "however" - back in the 70's I had several light colored Leisure Suits that when I wore them I wore a pair of white patent leather "T" strap Maryjane's with coordinated socks. I got many a comment that my shoes were 'cool'...

When I'm at a professional meeting where I have to be "male", I designate the inside of the hotel room for Tina only. I keep a pair of heels next to the door (usually the closet is there) and as soon as I step into the room, on go the heels and Tina has arrived.

If she's in for the night, the male stuff goes and she transforms. If she is only getting her male self ready to go back out, she does that, but in heels.

It's fast, it's easy, and it's a marked change in the body's behavior!

It's a bra for me too. I love the feel of my own bra; I am about a 38B without help so I wear that size in a bra that adds a cup or two size. I love it! Anything else is icing on the cake!

Great thread, and obviously many of us have the same affinity. For me, if time is really short, it's a pair of silky pantyhose and any pair of pretty heels. They make me feel so calm and relaxed. And they are just plain FUN! If time permits, a skirt, bra, professionally looking top, silky panties, silky slip, silky cami, waist cincher, hip pads, makeup - the whole works will be added. Whenever I wonder why I CD, the calmness and wonderful feelings always remind me why.

I'm almost always in panties, but a quick fix just never did anything for me, I need at least a 4 to 6 hr window, or I won't bother. Even then I want the whole day if I'm going to get dressed and do make up and all, if time doesn't allow for that because of scheduling, then I'll throw on a pair of Capri leggings, and a cute top until time to get back into his clothes.

This is a new dimension to my crossdressing. I am, without a doubt, plus size, including my feet. For years, I have witnessed my wife's frustration in finding shoes to fit herself, as she is a size 11. My feet ar even larger, at size 12EEE (men's). I have never considered seriously looking in a store for women's shoes that would fit me, and I will never try the hit or miss world of online purchases.

Until last week. I had gone into a plus size women's store (In drab, as I always do) to try on some of their on-special LBD's. No luck this time. I'm just not curved the way a real size 22 woman is, so I left them there (Note to self: lose that pot belly ASAP!) On the way out, I noticed a Pay-Less Shoe store and it looked larger than the ones I have seen elsewhere. Possibly a better than average selection? Hmmmmm. I went in and asked what was the largest size available in women's shoes. Thirteen, I was told, in the next aisle over. I figured that I would need a Fourteen for my feet, but I went and looked anyway. Not much selection, as I thought, but there was a pair of size 13 low cut boots with 3 inch heels. What was there to lose? I removed my runners and quickly tried them on over my socks. A bit of a tight squeeze, but with a proper pair of hose or tights....? Babies, you're coming home with me! Bonus: the price was $29.99! Score! I paid and left quickly. At home, I tried them with my knee-length black sweater dress and a pair of black tights. 'Right from the start, I could walk OK in them, and that distinctive sound as I walk across hard floors is irresistable. Awesome! I now know what the rest of you are talking about!
