The warm weather is coming to and end slowly, and our nice afternoons and warm 15 degree nights are numbered, at least here in Vancouver BC.
I missed out on pride day cause it was a scorching hot 32 degrees celcius and my make up would have melted off and I would have passed out wearing one, I felt faint after the 2 hour parade standing in the shade for 1hour 30 mins... Tonight was 17 degrees in the evening and the rest of the week is rated at about 9 for the nights... I really want to do an afternoon get dressed but I'm kinda shy but feel pressured by my self as if I don't do it this summer, I'll be sad to have missed out on skirt season.
Already this summer I have yet to touch my heels or skirt or anything like that at all just cause of the way things worked out and I wanted this summer to be the summer I went out in the day time.

Same here. Way too hot, and way too chicken, too.

I'm a warm weather girl myself, but after one of the hottest summers in memory, I'm kinda looking forward to cool. All summer has been tank tops, shorts or flouncy skirts,
and ballet flats. Nothing wrong with that, and you can get a whole outfit at old navy for about seven bucks, but now we can start to but on heels, and tweed skirts, and cashmere sweaters.
I already started my cold weather shopping. Picked up a Calvin Klien cashmere coat at The Bay, some suede slouchy ankle boots, and a couple of sweaters. Lots of purple out this year.
The only good thing about the Canadian climate is having four wardrobes!

Granted it was very warm this summer but that doesn't stop this girl from being who she is.
It will be nice to have some cooler temps and be able to wear stockings with my skirts and heels, but I will miss being in my tankini and lounging by the pool, working on my tan lines.

Yes, the warm weather is nearly gone and it's time to adapt to the next seasons. But for my semi-closeted crossdressing the cooler seasons have huge advantages. I'll soon be able to paint my toenails again without attracting unwanted attention. Since I choose to keep much of the hair on my torso, legs, and arms (maintaining my guy appearance for me and for my wife), I'll soon be able to wear the long sleeves, high collars, and long skirts I love without sweating badly. I've been looking forward to this for months!

Move to a mild climate, I can wear about the same styles and weight of fabrics year round, the real change for me is color palette. But I do get to add cute sweaters for winter. Here it never gets to hot for make up, and never to cold for dresses and skirts.

No problem with cold weather I like to wear big woman turtlenecks.

Where I am, in the summer months it regularly hits 100 degs F (38 degs C) and so going outside fully en femme with wig, makeup, forms hip and bottom padding etc etc, can be a challenge, and when you first get into your car, it's a killer until the A/C lowers the temp. I much prefer the spring and fall seasons as it's still warm enough to wear dresses and open toed sandals but I get wear cute cardigans as well. The winter is ok I guess (I hate the cold) but at lease I get to wear boots! :)
