I findly got to go out of town by myself and on this trip I decided I was going to get dressed up and go out in female mode. Well I got dressed and went to Walmart that night. I park and was going to get out,but there were alot of employees outside by the doors, I guess taking a break. I lost my courage and left, road around and then came back to Walmat and parked. I told my self that this time I wasn't going to chicken out, so I gathered up my courage and went for it. It was like everone has said on here, no one noticed if they did they didn't say anyting. I felt so good cause I had though of this moment for so long and I findly did it. The next day I got braver, got dressed up again put on my make up, black women's jeans and a nice top. I went back to Walmart this time around noon as I was going in a lady with a basket said to me mam do you want this basket. Now that made my day, after walking around and buying a few things, I decided to go to the mall and same thing there no one notice, I didn't get any weird looks, I guess I did a good job doing my make up. Now I can't wait to do it again, that is going out in female mode.

How I wish I could, but there is nothing dainty about my build, Like a Mack truck with a Mustache.

Congratulations Glendy. While it gets easier each time, don't get overconfident. Baby Steps. i hope your home situation is good and anyone there is accepting and will understand it. I have only gone out 4 times, pumped gas, bought a blouse, tried on a dress and bought it, and walked a mall. I would go out again in a heartbeat if/when wife could take it. I have to plan my outings for out of town moments, and now a days they are infrequent.

Keep doing a good job, and you will have a ball.

Walmart is a good place to start since most (OK, a fair amount...:D.) of their customers have no need to talk about how others dress....

Good for you!

Glendy, that was a great start. Although a lot of folks seem to like going to wallyworld dressed I tend to prefer shopping malls. Give one a try next time out!

Outstanding. I'm sure most of us can remember that moment when the need to get out overcomes out fears. And we remember the surprise and relief that our fears were unfounded.
