Pa Renn Faire Sales assocites can teach the rest of the world a lot!!

Went to Pa renn faire yesterday. wasn't overtly dressed as we had people with us that aren't in the know. However most of my clothes are women's and i have a feminine hair style, and unless i wear lumberjack attire I am frequently missed or ma'amed. Well got quite a few Milady's yesterday.

But the best was when i was looking at some hand crafted jewelry one of the stand tenders came up to me and started talking and grabbed me by the arm and escorted me around the stand having me try on various necklaces while talking to others in the stand calling me her and she and asking me questions like 'do you have a cute outfit in mind for that.' i really don't think i was passable on close inspection especially talking to her but she treated me just like one of the girls. Needless to say i walked away with a purchase.

I love RenFaires! I'm guessing it was make nice to sell something, but still it's a good feeling to be treated well. I'm trying to scrape together enough cash to get a good outfit to go in. Not sure if I would do better as a wench or lady.


Anyone else dress for renfaires?
