What are your costume ideas?

With the glut of Halloween posts, I thought this made sense... I'm thinking about several things, but one idea I have right now is to go as a Flying Saucer Waitress. It's totally my favorite watering hole in town.

I have a nice French maid's outfit; Real nice with black tights, and a white apron.
I put it on last year, and my wife wanted me to give out the "Trick & Treat Candy
while wearing it. I chickened out, there are a lot of real young ones that come with
their parents. All I need is someone calling the cops.

I'm trying to get together a Pretty Woman hooker outfit. Thigh high boots, blue min-skirt, white top, blonde wig, red jacket. I found the wig and boots. We figured out the top and the skirt would not be a problem. Have not looked for a jacket.

Oh my goodness! That's exactly what I'm doing! I have a few other ideas for new costumes I'd like to pick up, since it 'tis the season. I'd love to try Jessica Rabbit!! I also have some others I've worn just once a few years ago. Hopefully I'll have the opportunity to go out at least twice this year (New England October SNOW STORM LAST YEAR!!!!)

A couple years ago, my wife and I went to a costume party dressed as Sonny and Cher. She was Sonny...I was Cher. That was really, really fun. I wasn't out to my wife (or anyone else) at the time, so it was a little edgy for me to suggest it. She went along with it, but I don't think she had quite as much fun as I did! I really loved walking down the street in the outfit, being out in public, chatting with the other girls about makeup and high heels, and getting nice compliments from people at the party.

I'm sitting this year out for good reason but I always liked to be a real female like Kristy Yamaguchi for mike, Judge Millian, I think the best now would a be Dancing with the Stars female star or a contestant on So you think you can Dance. Their costumes are so feminine as is their hair and makeup! I also hope to one day do a fully clothed pin photo shoot from the 50's. Have fun and remember the details make the outfit special.

For years, and i mean a lot of them, I have always wanted to be princess leia in her white flowing outfit and the buns... Now, i think i can justify doing just that. BUT, that will have to wait til next year. I have enlisted a GG to help me with my "costume". I think she might realize that i am just using halloween as an excuse to go over to her house and play "dress up" and "beauty salon". She sounds as excited about it as I do. I just need to promise me no photos. Halloween is when i give friends and family my best trick ever, with the best treats I have! and not before lol

What to wear to this year's annual extended family Halloween Party, without causing too many relatives to have heart attacks?

1. Wonder Woman- My top choice but not probably the best for just trying to blend in and not cause too much of stir.
2. Star Trek Lt. Uhura (TOS version)- Not quite as revealing but still probably a little too much for appearing in girl mode for the first time ever.
3. Nurse (traditional unfirom, not the sleezy kind) I could probably pull this off but would still cause too much curiosity with my attention to detail with make up, and hair, along with the "Jocelyn" name tag.
4. Just chicken out and wear what I've worn every year. Go as guy in my ridiculous pimp costume complete with fake mustache and beard.

One of the first years out at halloween I dressed as a princess, Cinderella to be exact.
Long white off the shoulder and showing my boobs off.
I made a reference to my male personna and everyone thought I was my girlfriend.
I let this go and they kept asking where I was. I did not tell them I was hiding in a princess costume but that "I" had been called out to an emergency breakdown.
One of my rat fink friends tried to hit on me all night without knowing. ;)
Question? How do you leave a party as an attractive girl late at night and without an escort? :)
Answer: It is hard, catch a taxi and then come back for your car later in the morning.

The die is cast:
Penni is going as a traditional nurse, i bought a Peaches uniform, button front size 10, 3/4 length sleeves and a sort of double collar, traditional nurses cap (even white bobby pins to attach it to my wig), stethoscope and a pen that looks like a medicine filed syringe. White lace up shoes size 10 as well. The uniform was to long for my tastes so i found a local seamstress to alter it so it falls just above the knees and she also is taking in the sides to accentuate my waist. I read in an earlier post about a name tag so i'll try to get one of those as well. I will post pics when i get it together.

The bars seem to be having parties the Friday and Saturday before Halloween and Halloween night so that's three days of opportunities. But, I'm no longer a "bar" person so we may do something else. Walking around town or the mall would do it for me.
