I have read countless threads about HRT and how your body reacts to changed chemistry. Most of the time I read that little does change, but staying safe I agree that such is probable and within the norm.

But here in this thread I want to share with you my own experience, of mesmerizing change, of out of this world metamorphosis, into a body I really never asked for in my wildest dreams. And I am not talking of attractiveness or being thin, which by the way lately had been a bit of struggle between returning to life taste butts and staying super Model skinny.

No, I am talking about the body of texture, smell, softness, curvature, proportion only found on a natal woman. Now again, dont get me wrong, perhaps I would love way more butt, yes I would, perhaps I would want bit more breast, YEP, thinner waist....naturally, but the honest truth is....so would any average woman!

I have started from chunky, thick muscular presence, yet 3 or so years later I still cant believe how amazing this body is.
So just to let you, potential transitioners, know that what seems a miracle now may in fact become reality, when you apply a force of devotion and strive, into YOU side by side with Hormones !!!

I couldn't agree more Inna. I have been on HRT for 16 months and yes I love the body I am in! I am 37 and have never looked or felt better. I usually go about my day to day routines like shower, lotion, and dressing and every once and again I slow down and run my hands over my body and take the time to notice myself. I am absolutley in bliss with the results of my choices.

And yes, me and that handful of pills makes it all possible!

Inna,

I agree with you 100 percent. I used to have a really obnoxious body odor and all kinds of zits all over my body. And I also had a terrible pot belly. There was a person who compared my profile to Alfred Hitchcock. I really hated my body and a lot of times I wished I was dead.

Now I have nice soft skin free of blemishes, no obnoxious body odor (I smell like a natal woman), working on a feminine fat distribution, and developing breasts (B cup so far and growing).

I still am able to hang onto my basso profundo voice - something I do NOT want to change!

Yes, M2F hormones are a wonderful thing! I have been on HRT about 12 months.

Inna,

Thanks for sharing this, and to all of the others who have shared their experiences with HRT. Those of us who are contemplating HRT really appreciate this. The glow you must show outwardly really comes from the inside. Your comments about "body of texture, smell, softness, curvature, proportion" remind me of the first time, years ago, when I read Jan Morris' bio Conundrum. She recalled her first outward changes -- the loss / softness of body hair, and I dinstinctly remember her reference to "stripping off that rough male exterior", or something to that effect. That really stayed with me.

I've only been on Estradiol for a month but I have noticed some changes, mostly in the mood department. My wife even remarked that I am much more "mellow" than I used to be. It promises to be an interesting journey, I have no plans for surgery and will probably be one of the "middle pathers" referred to in another thread. Breast enlargement is probably wishful thinking at this stage...but maybe someday.

To those who might be concerned, I am under professional medical care so all is well there.

Hugs,
