Just thinking while I was panty shopping this morning about how I felt like I was sneaking into the ladies department an hoping I would not be noticed by anyone else in the store. the simple act of buying panties was a thrill to me but to a GG only a routine purchase .
How long does this last for a cd until shopping becomes routine ?

I've only been "into it" for about 7 years, and it's still a thrill to go shopping.... VS Fan

For a person wanting to change or be the female sex I am in no position to speak for a crossdresser I think the THRILL is a part of it.

The thrill of crossdressing adventures lasts a lifetime.
Every time you stretch the boundaries, there is another adrenalin rush.
When the excitement wanes, find another interest. :)

It's impossible to say as it's different for each person. Also, I think it's about "exposure" .. if you shop for panties several times a week, then it's gonna become more "normal feeling" sooner than if you only shop for panties every couple of months. My advice is enjoy every moment of these times because (sadly in my case) the "buzz" subsides as the years go by. Walking into the women's section to buy lingerie is nothing to me anymore

I suppose in the beginning there was a thrill of just being surrounded by mountains of awesome clothes when going shopping.
These days I'm pretty much making about 95% of my purchases online. I obviously understand that a lot of posters can't be having stuff delivered...but I can.
Getting packages in the mail can be a thrill.

I've been shopping for more years than I want to admit, somewhere over 30 years, I'll let you know when the thrill leaves, then I'll just shop on line, in a small town the selection is better anyway, it's just not as much fun.

I have always found a thrill in "buyng" Used to take a couple of days to build-up for it. A couple of months ago I got "captured" by a sales assistant exiting the trying-on room. Are you o-k there, I replied, yes, thanks, thought I should make sure it fits, so I don't make a fool of myself bringing it back. The reply nearly knocked me out, well, its your colour! I reckon now I can go shopping wherever and for whatever I fancy. Best of all I can feel even better when I get home .

Its not the trill of sneaking in the womans section for me... but rather satisfaction taking my time and getting what I need. It can get extremely confortable and routine after a while eventhough I am always in guy mode when I shop...maybe shopping girl mode in the future for me? I have never ever gotten a bad look or bad remark in probably 40 purchases now! Amanda

After 10 or so years of shopping 'dressed', I'd say the thrill of it has faded.
What remains is mostly just the comfortable feeling of being able to go out dressed how I want to be dressed. For some reason, I still get nervous if I am dressed as a GUY and go into the women's department, but if I'm fully dressed, I feel right at home and can browse all day. The last time I was in the lingere dept. to pick up a bra dressed in male mode, it felt like all eyes were on me, thinking "What is that MAN doing here?" When I'm there as Cristi, I feel like I am more accepted.
So the discomfort of being in that area as a guy is MORE than that of being there dressed as a woman.

I myself am quite new to Cd shopping Today i went out fully dressed and got a new dress The thing is i really don't think anyone even noticed as i was watching the reaction of the general public quite nervously but no one even seemed to bat an eyelid The cashier looked a little intrigued when i went to pay but that was it I even got a couple of Woolf whistles from some guys working on building some flats near my home When i got home i felt amazing thinking i had fooled the public such a buzz I really hope it don't become routine i never want to lose that buzz :)

Hi Terri, I've been dressing for eight years longer than you've been
alive and I still get a thrill shopping for womens clothing.
