Tomorrow, I get to go shopping with a friend, a GG that I am hoping to come out to. I am hoping to use the trip as a springboard. We will probably hit some of here favorite stores, and I plan to ask her opinion on some clothes. She is starting to figure things out, so maybe this is her way of breaking the ice. With any luck, I will come home tomorrow with a new skirt or something, and hopefully someone to share things with. WISH ME LUCK!

I have been able to bring the subject out into the open by holding a dress up to myself and doing a swirl.
If I have a positive reaction I then push the envelope.
This works for me about seventy percent of the time.
When it does not work drop it like a hot brick or switch to say I would like to see you in this.
I really lost out once, I bought the girl the dress, she wore it out with me and after a difference of opinion she said, "Take your stinking dress back."
I did and wore it at another time.
Come to think of it, did I really lose out? :)

Well, we never did manage to leave the house and do some shopping. BUT, she did noticed that I had on a cami under my shirt and a little eye shadow. She caught sight of my purple panties when I was leaning over for something which opened up the floor to questions about the top and make up.
We weren't able to go into very great detail ( she had a work crew there working on an emergency plumbing issue). She is very supportive. If we had had more privacy, we might have gotten to do a make over and she even mentioned going through some of her clothing. She is roughly my size except in the bra department as she is nicely endowed.
The bottom line is she is ok with me cd-ing and very supportive. The conversation weaved around her dealing with the work crew, talking fashion, and helping her find a match on a few sites. It was incredibly comfortable, and I feel I have a sister close by. She promised the make over as soon as it was possible (she figured correctly that I wouldn't want to do make up or try on clothes with the crew around, or her children).
Thank you all for the Happy thoughts! They work!

I just came back from an early morning trip to the local thrift shop. I go two skirt, a new cute top to match, and some times for under $15. I used the fitting rooms to try everything on (amazed it all fit first time, btw). None of the SA blinked at it. The male cashier didn't say a word and treated me like i a customer. I plan on going back here again. If i had a few more dollars cash with me, I would have gotten more. No complaints here though. Love the skirt and top! Happy Saturday, Girls!
