I'm not out of the closet in my area, only 3 people know. And aside from some very late night jaunts within 200m of my house I don't go out. However, tonight I thought what the hell. I walked from my ex's place (Feeding cat while she's on holiday) to mine en femme!

I'm very pleased with myself, lol.

First time out for me was a walk around the block.
Then drive to Wal mart walk up to the door and turn around.
Keep at it and you will be going everywhere.

My first time out was circa 1968, late Spring weekend, I wore shorts, hose, likely no heel shoes, wig, makeup. i wasl iving at home at the time & both of my parents were asleep. Stacey, best wishes on all of your female outings.

That's how it all starts and how you overcome some of the fears you may be having. for a lot of girls here it may not seem as much but you and I those baby steps mean a lot and help send us on our way to a more comfortable place :) Glad you got the chance and all went well :)

Thanks girls. I woke up this morning and thought "Did I REALLY do that?!" Yes, yes I did!! It was a walk of just over a mile and while I used the side roads as much as possible there were 3 very busy main roads I had to use for about a third of that journey. I don't think I would've done it if I didn't have my long black wig which hides my face on shadow when I dip my head!!
