Hi Girls,

Bought my first pair of girly jeans the other day and was wondering whether I should tuck them in my three quarter length boots or not. I think they look better tucked in, just wondered how you all wore jeans and boots together.

I personally like them not tucked in myself. But that could be because me jeans are flare-bottoms. I guess it all depends on the jeans and the boots. Also, I don't ever recall seeing tucked in jeans around here recently.

Why don't you post side by side pics so we can help you? I did that once with an outfit and everybody here was great about it.

When I wear jeans and boots I leave them untucked I have tucked them in before but I think they look better untucked.

I thing it really depends on the look you are going for. In general if you are going for a biker, cow girl, equistrian, motor cycle cop type of look then tuck them in.

Otherwise wear a pair of boot cut or flair jeans and leave them out.

Untucked.
My boots, both pair, are only ankle boots, so I let the jeans hang over the boot.
One pair of boots I even wear in 'man mode', and no one has noticed, because the heel is only slightly smaller than mens boots.
The other pair, has a 2 1/2" high heel on them, with a smaller heel. I think someone would definitely notice.

I wear boot cut jeans, so I vote untucked.

OMG! I'm sitting here with girl jeans and ankle high boots when I read this! How cool! I have the jeans cover the boots but the boots are kind of plain, black, square toe, 2" heel.

I'd let the mirror on the wall be the deciding factor. I've seen some pretty good looks with boots over jeans. It all depends on the boots and the jeans. Experiment! That's half the fun!

Untucked for me as I only wear boot-cut jeans...

I think it depends upon what kind of look you are trying to attain. I was at a local bar the other night with a few of my guy friends when in walks three very hot and attractive gals and lo and behold all three were wearing knee high black boots of varying heel styles and heights with their jeans tucked in. And boy did my friends take quick notice and liked very much what they saw. It seems to me by the way they strutted they were after a particular guy reaction and by golly they got it. I just smiled and sat there kind of quiet just savoring the moment...hint hint!:D

I couldn't get my jeans tucked inside my boots even if I wanted to!

(info for British girls: Tescos black leather boots with synthetic sole, £30 - if I'd waited two days I could have got them with 20% off! :( but a great bargain anyway)

Have seen lots of girls tucking skinny jeans into calf boots at the moment... the ones I like best for this are:

Me... I'm still in bootcut jeans, but I've just bought these to go underneath:

Really comfy too! :)

I would leave them un-tucked. That is how I see most women wearing them around here.
