Hooray for Laurie

I went shopping for some clothes and shoes in addition to having my annual mammogram today. I dressed casual a pair of capris,flip flops and a blouse foundation and lipstick I walked with my head held high and was treated as any normal woman would expect. Those I encountered called me ma'am or miss the technician called me Ms and sweetie. I am on cloud 9, 10 and 11 at 60 finally being me and I felt as if this is what I have been missing all my life.
