Just got back from 10 wonderful days in Vegas. Us girls should try this and you will love it. Went to visit Amy at the Glamour Boutique and had a makeover, (she is great). After that I had a photo shoot at Light Images by Susan. She took over a 100 snapshots but only had 35 of them printed. She does not have a problem doing photoshots of crossdressers. Take your clothes and get a makeover and head over to see her. Also went to Serges wigs on Sahara and tried on a few wigs. Those ladies there are so cool and helpful and they make it fun to see which ones look the best. I did buy 3, one short straight kind of almost pumpkin color, a darker blonde one, straight shoulder length, and a cute redish-brown, picsey(spelling) medium length, flairs out a little on the sides. They must have a few hundred and all different colors, best place I have found to buy a wig. Sister in law surprised me with a royal blue formal dress the night before we left. Have always wanted a dress like this but thought I was a little too old for something like that, I did wear it for a few pics in the photo shot. Will see if I can post a few when I get the proofs. The trip was awesome. Had fun and was so confident after the makeover, we all went out to Red Rock Casino to gamble a little, only had some younger girl look at me. I think she was just jealous(ha ha). :):):):daydreaming:

Were you staying at the Red Rock Casino?
Did you visit any other places or did you only go out for that one night?

Im glad you enjoyed our fair little city. Its nice to see girls come to town and enjoying it. Its even better when they start going to say regular local places instead of sticking to the alternative bars. Here ppl are easy going and seldom make a seen Its Vegas your suppose to have fun here and relax. Yes Serges is a great place for wigs alot of the show girls here shop there. and Amys a doll. I have a friend in town that carries supplies for us girls from head to toe so Its kinda easy for me here. Any help I can be girls feel free to write me. Once again girl glad you had fun and the Red Rock hotel is an awseome hotel with great city views at jight.

Nancie, it sounds like you have a great time. Yay! Vegas is one of the few locations where there are places to go all dressed up and not stick out too much. There are a lot of tourists around so you will get some stares, but it is generally safe due to all of the security around in the casinos. Most people are too wrapped up in what they are doing to notice you. I've been a number of times and never experienced a problem.

A FYI and not to hijack this thread
For those interested in going out in Vegas in a slightly more structured way and with a lot of help and support, there is something called Diva Las Vegas which is April 14-19 in 2013. More information can be found here. http://www.geekbabe.com/dlv/ If you search this forum, there are several threads about past experiences at Diva.

Vegas is great, if you look a little odd then all you are is part of the sideshow. :)
So when you go for breakfast at 3.00 am in the morning think of where you come from and what breakfast opportunities in an evening dress are there.
Go Vegas! The worlds adult theme park. :)
Oh yes I like Las Vegas.

Didn't stay at Red Rock, have a timeshare and come there spring and fall. Out to Red Rock only the one night after the make over since I do love skirts and that was the place I thought the skirt fit in. A little less light and I am still a little shy. Could only wish I was more confident. By the way, you look great. Do you go out fem all the time?

The day I come "out" will be the day I shave off my beard.

Seriously considering it.

The next step will be going to a city where I'm not known.

Las Vegas...where I've never been before...is my first choice.

Thanks for the info.

Had two great make overs with Amy. Head to toe day one. And then just a make up and wig session. Could not have been better experience

I am going to Vegas Thu and Fri and for the first time in my life I am going to spend to complete days dressed and go out. I am nervous, but you only live once, right?

I have seen many T Gals in Vegas and very few people really gave them much of a notice. I was at the Tropicana when I saw a 6 foot plus drag queen in a magnificient show girl outfit walk through the casino and not a person gave her more than a second look. It was amazing! What happens in VEGAS does stay there.

My wife and I went there last December and had a blast. Being cold out I wore girly jeans, tennis shoes, and usually a "not so over the top" top with a jacket; however no make-up or wig. My wife painted my fingernails whcih was the first time with painted fingernails, truthfully, the nails were noticed more often than what I was wearing.
