Holiday en femme in Thailand

Anyone had holidays in Thailand whilst dressing en femme 24/7?
The country is tolerant of transgendered so passing is unlikely an issue.
It's a very exotic option blending the thrill of CD and the fun of that country.

Just tell me what to do there? Where to meet other TG girls (local and expatriates)? Where to shop for larger shoes etc ? What's the risks involved with toilets and bullies and crime etc?

well trust me you won't have a hard time finding like minded people gurls like us are literally EVERYWHERE! if you go to pattaya just get in a baht bus and say BOYS TOWN

I've been to Thailand a few times. You will see hundreds of the most worlds most beautiful TG girls. They say that the most beautiful women in TL are men, and there's lots of them. Take in the ladyboy shows, and Pattaya. The mainstream drag bars are fun. In the ladyboy street bars you will not be treated well en femme. They are all hookers, and some foriegn competition might not go over well.
In Bangkok proper you should have no problems. Throughout TL street crime is rampant, tourism is their largest industry, so police presence is pretty good. Buy a guide book, and stay on the right side of the tracks. The food is devine, the shopping is great (bear in mind when shopping the markets, the average Thai women is a size 1, and about 5'0"). Larger sizes are easy to find in the higher end boutiques catering to tourists. As the rest of Asia, counterfit goods are everywhere. In buying a prada, you might be getting a fake. This can also be fun... getting louboutin knockoffs for $50.
Thailand is one of the very best tourist destinations I know, you will have a blast. Remember, and I'm not kidding, chewing gum is illegal. The guide books all have a chapter about how to interact with the locals, as their customs are very different, and you are the foriegner there. Enjoy-Celeste

The only thing about going enfemme in Thailand is that you will REALLY stick out, unless you are similar size/skin tone. I see you have Shanghai listed so I am assuming you are bigger/taller than the Tailandesas. Even so, then even as a foreigner I think you would be viewed as street girl/bar girl competition.

I just want to add that above mentioned may not necessarily be the normal view, depending on where you go. Most foreigner single men go to these places straight to the bar zones. I always thought it would be great to get local CD/TG boyfriend and live there (I have another Asian country in mind though) for months on end enfemme 24/7...but then the heat!

Maybe, could you gals give me more practical tips. Where to meet people? Where to go? Toilet ? Hotel choice ? How's the heat doing to the makeup and wig outdoor? Any Western CDs obviously spotted in thhe streets ? Also, where to go at night ?

So I do not participate. Wait till I get back to L.A.

well as far as being there dressed i can't help you out because i was in the military on deployment but meeting people is very easy because everyone is really generally pretty friendly
