A brand new day

So, after nearly 23 months of HRT, 150+ hours of electrolysis, and a legal name change, I finally did it.

I went full time today. This was also my first day going to work as Jennifer. Everyone was accepting of me and it really felt like it could have been any other day at work. I am very thankful for all of the support and understanding I have received from my coworkers, friends, and family members.

I feel like a tremendous weight has been lifted from my life, although I don't yet think I understand the true significance of this either. I suppose that in my mind, the entire prison has been unlocked, and I'm just starting to peek outside my cell...

And that is why today is a brand new day. :hugs:

I went full time almost two weeks ago and just got my legal name change Wednesday. I don't go back to work for another couple of weeks but most of my coworkers were supportive or at least accepting before I left. I'll see how it goes when I show up in a dress. lol

Geee, I could almost sound like an old person telling you :"I remember when you were just a little.........." lol, long ways from humble beginnings, however just starting anew! Congrats girl!!!!
