Hi all,
I haven't posted anything in months. To summarize, as I haven't told my wife (I know...), I've only gone out dressed a few times.
I went to a huge Halloween Ball in San Francisco, wearing a mask. For the first time, I mostly passed. In a room with Salsa dancing, one man even asked me to dance. I was terrible and he asked if I danced before (which I have but only as a leader). He even gave me a quick lesson. It was strictly platonic, but still a rush.
In the ladies room, the girls hanging out just treated me as one of them, telling me who was next. I don't even think my voice gave me away. As one group was trying to take their picture in a mirror, I even offered to take their pic.
I made small talk with a few people, complementing them on their costumes, and for the first time, felt like I was being viewed as a woman and not a guy in a dress. Of course, one couple rudely touched my falsies, and I'm sure I heard someone say "man in a dress" as I was on the stairs, but that's irrelevant.
Too bad I can wear a mask more often.
