Did you like kindergarten when you were a little boy?

My son was talking to my aunt this afternoon and he was telling her all about kindergarten. Then he asked her if she liked kindergarten when she was a little boy and she said "Um, I'm a girl." He looks and her puzzled and says "Um, when you were a girl." LoL! Some of the things kids say.

When I was in kindergarten I already knew I was a little girl, but for some strange reason they kept treating me like a little boy. I still remember my teacher, Mrs. Anderson. She was wonderful! Despite the gender discrepancy we had a lot of fun.

I especially liked nap time and the cookies that she served. For years now I've been trying to think of the brand of those cookies so that I could see if I could find them again. For a long time I thought they were Mary Janes, but it turned out they weren't. They were fairly large and flat and may have had a decorative border imprint with their name in the middle. It took a while to chew them, and I think they had molasses in them. If anyone knows what they were I'd really appreciate the info.

I really liked kindergarten, i was a very high energy kid. i also know, from what i can remember and have been told, that i had more girl friends than boy friends and that while i loved running around i also loved to play pretend with the girls...funny i am still in between.

Ok, now I know what I have missed in life, I got no cookies in Kindergarten, Oh , darn it there was no Kindergarten when I started school. OK, so I am telling my age, also I started school in a rural area.
