View Full Version : Places You’ve Been Dressed as a Woman…

Back around Sept 2006 I had just got my act together to go out as a woman and pass. A good wig, beard shaver, and makeup… stuff I learned from here! So initially I got into shopping and trying women’s clothes in fitting rooms. When I had enough confidence to pass I then went into women’s restrooms. Then as time went by this became normal, then I went to church because I would go shopping later as a woman. Biggest achievement was going to a Job Fair in a skirt suit, and the Frito Lay’s HR lady was very accepting of me and talking of jobs with her company… But Northrop Grumman HR brushed me aside, even though I once had a Security Clearance. But the one thing I had never accomplished was going to the beach in a swimsuit… I need a good shave and tuck for that… I might have to tape myself.

Otherwise, I don’t go out dressed often… It’s become a little routine. I only dress when I want to try on clothes before I buy them, so I shop and pass very well to use the women’s fitting room. And this year was the first time I viewed Chicago’s Halloween Parade in my Cheerleader outfit, only because I bought a matching jacket for it on ebay [it made me warm].

So where have you been and where do you want to go dressed as a woman?

If the workplace was accepting I’d like to occasionally dress pretty for work too! Some companies now say they are accepting of “sexual orientation,” – I wonder if that gives us a license to crossdress at work!

...but sexual orientation really has nothing to do with crossdressing.

I am not officially out...but, I would love to go to work dressed, but that is probably way off in the future, if ever. The easiest places I found to go is where there is a fairly large amount of people. The major clothing stores are great, but I do not buy much, money tight now in our household. I enjoy strolling thru the malls. I have really been hitting the city/county parks, 2-3 hrs at a time. I have started buying things at Walmart, Kmart, Dollar stores, just going in ,finding what I need and paying for it. For me dressing puts me in a definite comfort zone I cannot really describe and I find myself dressing/doing it more and more...

Kate- Yes, some workplaces would accept you dressing, but I'm fairly certain they would stipulate that you did it every day, and present fully as a woman at all times. Where have I been dressed? Canada, U.S.A., France, England, Thailand, and the Carribean. Nervous moment wearing a dress- First artist of the day on the main stage at Toronto pride. Noon, and over a million people there already. Just me, an acoustic guitar, a long dress, my voice, and nervous energy.- Celeste

I love parks and hiking trails, the beach, swap meets, and occasionally the neighborhood (at night). I also hit the OC Fair this year with a friend. I will occasionally shop dressed, but not regularly.

Most workplaces will insist that you pick one gender orientation or the other to present. I would be sure to consult with someone in the HR department before you walk in sporting your best skirt and your newest heels.

The most interesting place that I went to wearing a dress was Cowboys Stadium home of the Dallas Cowboys. I have an official tour picture of me standing on the star in the center of the field in a nice skirt and heels.

Kate, This week I have been very outgoing. I found myself in Ft Smith, AR on halloween afternoon and night and took full advantage of being many miles from home. Got all dressed up in my room at the Holiday Inn and hit the town. Let me be the first to say I don't really pass for a woman but I'm not bad. I went shopping at the late lunch at TGIF's and then went shopping some more. Later went back to TGIF's for drinks and meet some really great girls GG's. Ended up going to a private party with them. A great time. Tonight I'm out on Atlanta. Just go!!!!!!!!! Have fun. I have gotten to the point I will go just about anywhere dressed as long as I'm not in my home town.

I wonder how the Holiday Inn accepts us, I use them quite a bit and their front counter is always occupied.
Never had a problem there.
I also will go dressed up anywhere as long as it is a hundred miles away from home.

No place really unusual. Going out is routine for me now, but I like that. I do everyday stuff dressed, like groceries and trips to the bank.

I guess my most unusual venue was attending a live performance at Houston's Wortham Center.

The most fun I have had in Robyn mode was going to the Seattle symphony with my wife (and about 3000 of our closest friends). Most exciting experience I have had in Robyn mode was flying from Houston to home!

I have been dressed enfemme all over the west coast, most of the east coast including the south, and part of the midland in the U.S.A. Also I have been dressed enfemme in London, parts of Scotland, Paris, Rome, and a few other places in Italy. If you are a crossdresser, wear your clothes where you go!! I never had a problem anywhere!

The Dunes Resort in Saugatuck 3 weeks ago is the only time and place I've dressed in public. I never thought I would dress in public, but with a little nudge from a couple of the girls here I did it! Hopefully I will go there again in April and wear something less conservative.

Because of my size and shape, I make a very ugly female.
I only go out with my wife, wearing bra, panties, suspenders, stockings under my normal clothes. (normally to the hotels, cinema, shopping centres etc) So I guess I cheat a little bit. I am excited and aroused when I go out like this, I think my wife is also excited knowing what I am wearing under my normal clothes, as she often casually touches and plays with my bra, cup and straps and suspender straps under my shirt and jeans.
