When we were young!!

I was thinking about this in the shower about when I was younger and always dreaming of my parents accepting me as a girl and even to the point to where they took me to cut my dangler off, but that never happened. I also dreamt that they would take me clothes shopping and buy me pretty dresses left nad right and how they loved me more than anything because I was their child, but growing up has been so much different than any dream I ever had of such things. I had several dreams about me wearing a yellow dress and twirling around in a field of daisies and sprinting had having fun with the boys chasing me. I eventually ended up in a tire kissing a boy and everything else fell into place. Eh, such dreams that never came true.

Yes, I think we all wish our childhood were what we wanted it to be. Unfortunately it wasn't so. We may have missed a lot but there are so many dreams yet to be dreamed. So now go on and make your dreams come true.

I dont know how old i was when i had this dream., but I was ten when we moved from the house that I had the dream in. So I wouldve been between six and ten on this dream.

My dream was about the old shed in the back yard. Now the side was starting to fall out, and I dreamed it was an opening to a parallel dimension which allowed me going to a department store and rummaging through the womens clothing, trying on anything I wanted.

My dream came true. Yay!

I have had a dream like Kristen's numerous times. I am dressed in a yellow dress with a petticoat under it. It has leg o mutton sleeves. I have white mary jane shoes and white gloves. I have a basket in some dreams and others a white small box purse. I am walking down a path thru a meadow or field with wild flowers. I wonder if anyone else has had a similar dream.

OMG, I am almost ready to cry. I do not remember a lot of my dreams, and it pisses off the wife who has lots and remembers them. OK, back on track. I have maintained that I knew nothing of crossdressing until 13 months ago, as I never indulged.

This thread made me think and I was expecting to bemoan the fact that I never did have those dreams in my youth. Instead, my eyes opened as i began recalling dreams where I was dressed as a woman. Wasn't doing anything like running through fields etc., but just doing the "normal" things one does in their dreams, but dressed as a woman. I cannot recall if i was a woman or not, just know I was dressed and behaving, talking, etc. as a woman.

I had not recalled these dreams, or I was suppressing them, I don't know. I know about repressed memories, but are there repressed dreams? I seldom think at all about dreams since I seldom remember anything, but this thread got me thinking in an emotional manner and maybe this triggered the recollection.

I know, maybe this just let my mind wander and make them up. I hope not. I have struggled over the past year as to why I would start out of the blue. Maybe it wasn't out of the blue, and there have been signs over the past 30 years or so.

Sorry, not wanting to hijack a thread Angela, but you are an angel for having these thoughts and expressing them, and I have had these dreams.

I would add that I believe gender variant individuals imagine themselves in many situations involving their true gender.
