I will be in Florida in early December. I don't know how much swimming will be available, but walking, shell hunting is common along the beach I think I will need to wear a mesh top (to 'lessen sunburn) but really to hide my little girls. While not super large, being slender suggests these aren't just 'male boobs' on someone who who needs to lose a few pounds.
wonder how others have dealt with something similar--when you have to present in male appearance -externally?

I lived in Tampa for about nine months and the beaches that are accessible for swimming are patrolled by law enforcement and security guards. My recommendation is to ere on the side of caution and cover up. Now, with that being said, Tampa and the surrounding areas area very very open minded and accepting. I use to go party in Ybor City dressed en femme and was welcomed by an overwhelming sense of support. While it may still be warm in Tampa during December, the water is going to be cold so unless you enjoy freezing your nipples to the point of cutting glass, I'd avoid the water.

If you're into the club/bar scene then I recommend either Club G or Tabu in Ybor City. Two very awesome gay/trans bars. Ybor City is commonly known as Gaybor City. Let me know if you need or want directions on how to get there.

I rarely find myself on the beach. But when I'm in the pool, or the fitness club, I always wear a top (eg t-shirt). And the top is usually loose fitting.

I'll wear a short sleeve shirt that isn't transparent-and a sport bralet to keep the girls in check. I think I have lost my topless pool privileges for good.

If you are transitioning, I think that by the time you are showing some development, you should also show some female modesty, and cover up.-Celeste
