SunServe - A TG Support Group in South Florida

A Transgender support group has started up here in South Florida as of October called SunServe. They meet on Wednesdays in Ft Lauderdale.

Even though my wife is incredibly supportive and helpful, I am realizing that I cannot simply throw all of my gender thoughts at her and hope that she helps me through them all.

Apparently, there are about 10 folks who rotate into the group for any one meeting. Has anyone heard of them? I am considering joining the meeting this week. Any thoughts or ideas on this or any other support groups in the area would be appreciated :)

Are the meetings weekly or is it on a specific Wednesday of the month? Either way that would be great because I'll be flying back home for winter break and Ft. Lauderdale is pretty close to my hometown. Seeing as how I've never sought out a support group until recently when i moved here I don't really know any support groups for that matter. Well except for the one I just decided to join which will be meeting this Saturday. I hope it works out for you and you are able to join. Maybe I'll get to meet you in person if I get the chance to go when I'm back home. Sorry for not providing any useful input towards your post.

The very fact that you replied is helpful :) Thank you for taking the time.

From what I understand it's every Wednesday. I wrote to the info email address today and got a very fast reply. Attendance is averages around 10 people per week or so. If I go this week I will try to provide more information.
