It seemed that cute summer dresses were the trend around here. Certainly couldn't complain.

Sundresses were very hot. With platform sandals or simple flip flops

Summer dresses with flowery patterns, especially long ones. All kinds of flat sandals to go with them, and loud necklaces (made from materials other than metal, stuff like stone, coral, leather, resin, etc). Happy shopping!

I love those sundresses! I dread the cold days ahead!

It seems maxi dresses are definitely flourishing.

Not sure what's "in" Hon. I've pretty much always created my own fashion statements.:battingeyelashes::)

Beaded thong flat sandals, leather soled. Short SHORT shorts with long tanned legs to show them off in, layered tanks and cami tops. Would agree that maxi dresses were in, but in bright colors or floral prints and flowing fabrics. Think cottons and earthy - second that on the large nature inspired jewelry. Big hobo bags. Bright bright bright colors. Depending of course on how much you want to be noticed. Good luck! Have a blast!

I agree, 2012 was the summer of the dress, I don't recall a summer where I have seen more GG's in dresses, long, short, sun, mini, etc. Excruciating ecstasy. :) *sigh*

Wore a long cotton dress in Florida with a big sun hat and sunnies. Sandals with a 1 inch high stiletto heel on hard sidewalks looked ok but I preferred a broad 1 inch heel to navigate soft stuff.
Others were wearing short low cut, well above knee sundresses. They did look cute. Too cute for me these days. :(

It seems maxi dresses are definitely flourishing.

And long may they keep flourishing! As a tall girl, I appreciate the extra length.

I can't help it, but when I go to the clearance section for the summer styles around here, it looks like a bag of Skittles barfed on a bunch of dresses :D
