Hi

I'm thinking i need a break and just had an amazing idea...

Why not, i thought, find somewhere i can holiday as Carrie. So i searched a little, found this place http://vacances.fm/ but with not knowing much i thought i'd put the idea to the only people i could think that could help me bring this idea into reality so here i am...

Have any of you heard of this place and whether it be a safe place or not? (im naturally wary and of course more on this subject)

Or

Do any of you have any suggestions?

I live in the UK so europe preferably but open to suggestions if its in my budget

xx

That looks like fun. There website seems brand new, no references, or even pictures. I would have to be wary unless they can supply some references that you can speak to. You wouldn't want to be thier first guest, or find out it's a scam, and the address is a goat farm run by latter day manson followers. Cheers-Celeste

Wow! That would be awesome. But, I agree you should make sure it's legit. Please do more reseach.

If Something is to good to be true, It sometimes is.
They do not give any prices, I would think that even the 3 or 4 day would
be in the Thousands. Just look at all the extra services they are offering.
To go all the way to France, I would rather stay in the USA. I just feel that
on this side of the Pond, we do have some laws that one can understand,
and be under some bit of confidence with them.

My suggestion would be to try Amsterdam... seems like almost anything goes there. :)

They have a myspace page that hasn't been updated recently:
http://www.myspace.com/vacances-en-femme

A google search for "Ann and Siân" doesn't turn up much.

I'd be leery of something with so little web presence. I'd at least expect to see a couple of blogs talking about patrons' experiences.

Carrie,
I would just settle for Europe, they have a diverse population.
Always nice to tour there.

Most likely nothing much turns up from that place, as it´s in France and they prefer French language. However, I do know that France has few places like that. I also found while travelling, that they are very open minded people (even when you always hear the opposite).

But yes, better to be careful, as there is all kind of scams.

Netherlands is of course the best place to be. I have never understood, how they turned so extreme open-minded people and friendly. It´s like no other place on this planet...if it is even on this planet :)

Carrie, if you google 'transgender holidays' it gives a few ideas, both in France and Spain via the beaumont society site and manchesterconcord site. There also used to be a complex on Ibiza that offered tg breaks. Here at home you might look at the St Audries site and ask about their 'specialist' week re transgender breaks, N Somerset coast near Minehead. Happy hunting
