So I was watching Taboo on Nat Geo and they have a story on a JAPANEESE cafe where the waitress are all dressed in cos play type maid uniform, and the waitresses are all men. Anyone know if something like that exists in the states? Would be fun to haves job at one huh?

Just go to any Anime Convention and you'll see a lot of Cders!
Cosplay I hope, will jump start a more accepting society...I was kinda hoping Metrosexuals were going to do the same.
It least we can wear pierced earrings now! *giggle*

I have heard a couple in the states but never actually seen them, in japan there are quite a few of them and a small number of CDer ones form what I have been told

Cross dressing in Japan is certainly a more accepted past time than here the U.S.

I have been to one in New Orleans, La. Can't remember the name of it but it was nice and a lot of fun.

The restaurant in New Orleans is Lucky Chengs. It is about two blocks off Bourbon Street in a very safe part of the Quarter.

Went there about 10 years ago, but I'm pretty sure it closed since then.

Lucky Cheng's is still in San Francisco and New York. Here in Denver we had a place a few years back that was always packed for weekend lunch. Bump and Grind. I think the X bar here still does have CD servers on Sunday brunch. Lipsync in New York.

I would love to go to a place like that! I think if more of these got to be successful it would open up a lot of acceptance for us one day.
