Andrea, there is/was a gg on the forum that admitted to having an attraction to MtF CDers, but whether it was at the level of being a fetish isn't known (she didn't say).
Long ago, I had many conversations with a gg on AOL chat rooms, and she was attracted to CDers.
And that's all I know about that.

I think this is the largest CD/TS forum there is, and it seems as if it might be a logical place for GGs who have a fetish for M2F CDs & TGs, to look for partners by establishing friendships with them first. They would need to join and post 10 times though, in order to make contact via PM. If you look back at the 10,000 starter threads in the intro sections (400 pages x 25 threads/page), you will find only a handful of GGs who have joined because they are "friends" to the community. The relatively small number of GGs who do join, do so because they are in relationships with CDs and they are looking for support.

I haven't looked at dating websites, but I've just looked at the Personals section on Craigslist. If you go to any major city in Craigslist and compare a weekly total posts from women4men to women4other, you'll see a very small percentage for "other". Of the "other", the bulk is women4women. There are a number of different combinations if you care to look, and although I saw categories for "t4m" and "m4t", I did not see a section for "w4t". I did see "mw4t" though, and out of curiosity I looked at three major cities: LA, Chicago, & New York. But, in these three cities, there was only one request from a couple who wants sex with a "t".

If this is strictly fetish for you, you might consider joining FetLife where you might meet a GG who wishes to be a domme to a sub, although whether or not she approves of the CDing would need to be determined.

This type of question really falls into that type of category. How many? More than one, less than 40 million? But as Reine pointed out, I think you are looking at only the sexual side. There are probably a lot more out there who would be amenable to dating or even marrying a CD, if the Cd was open and honest from the start and if they actually understood the lifestyle (even that isn't a good word but fetish intimates a sexual proclivity). If a GG wanted to date a CD and the Cd was not a fetishist, you would be surprised how well this type of relationship works out.

As far as Fetlife (since I have experience there) maybe 1 out of 5 contacts were GG's. The rest were men. Either men who had a curiosity or our fellow TG's who just wanted to play. So if you are looking for a GG for playtime only, you will still have a long wait. Then you can factor in (if the BDSM lifestyle is what you are into) the "professional domme" who would love you long time as long as your credit card holds out.

Since I have "come out" to my veteran's club, I have had two offers o hook me up with blind dates...GG's..who the friends knew would accept the TG life. So there are some out there who either just don't know where to look OR who would be willing if the person they were going to date was up front from the beginning. ME? I am just not ready for a emotional commitment yet, otherwise I would have better information on how these blind dates would go.

ReineD brought up dating websites. I am a member of plenty of fish and they have a forum section, of which I read often. I see many question pop up in the Relationships section of the forums about crossdressing. Many of the questions ask if women would date cders, others ask about TG people in general. I have also seen questions ask about ********.

I would guess about 5% of the replies from gg's were positive, when the questions were ask about....would they date a cder, while others did comment about fetish additions. I would say the replies were less than 2% in the positive when they were talking about a fetish addition in a relationship.

Not sure that helps or answers any question, but just my 2 cents on the matter.

Thanks for the information. Yes, I understand that a number of GG's are happy dating a CD's for non-fetish reasons. However when I discovered that some GG's do have this fetish, I was curious and wanted to find out more about it, though I'm not actually looking to date at the moment and am not into BDSM. But I'm still interested to hear what you have to say.

I'm not sure that it's a "fetish" per se for these women or perhaps more or less that they like the fact that some CD's are tapped into their own feelings and can relate to women better due to the way they express themselves. In any case, every one is an individual and will not always fit into the so called "norm" of any particular classified group.:)

From my experience, lot of girls like other girls, the way they look and feel, but if they are not lesbians they will miss something all CDs have. I say if you manage to look good as a girl you have a chance to attract such girls, but I wouldn't say they are interested in crossdressing itself sexually, but it doesn't mean it can't work for both :) just find a bi curious girl I guess - there's plenty of them in the end its all about how you can communicate your desires, hope i make sense :)

A question I need to ask of Sherry's fans, Lorileah. From what I've seen, tho, Luscious may be correct! They don't seem to interested in "dating" a CD. In fact, most seem to have SO's of one or another gender!

That is hard to know for sure, one way or the other. From the potentially flawed statistics that I have been able to find, India has the largest number of transgender persons per capita of any nation in the world; and they have roughly four times the total population of North America. Since few of the Indian transgender persons post here, I would guess that they have forums and blogs that cater to the हिन्दी speakers of that large nation.

On the main topic, I have been going out in public crossdressed for approximately 14 years now; I have met many women and consider myself friends with some of them. My impression, however, is that women tend to accept us as persons, but their romantic interests lie elsewhere. A seminar at the recent SCC presented evidence that about 70% of US women believe that transgender persons should be accepted in society -- a large improvement over the past decade. Men are less accepting, but they too have greatly improved over the past decade. The women like us -- at least if we have made serious efforts to get to know them and befriend them -- but they still prefer masculine men. To be sure, there are isolated exceptions to almost any statement that anyone could make.

Crossdressers in the US who are completely heterosexual and strongly desiring of heterosexual marriage will have to reach negotiated compromises with their female partners on issues of when, where, how often, and so forth. There are plenty of crossdressers with female partners, but the partners do not have anything comparable to a "fetish" for men in women's clothing. If that is what one is looking for, then he/she will probably have to settle for groupies who want some sexual variety for a short time, but who are not good long-term bets for ever spending a Golden Anniversary together! :straightface:

It seems to me that we are talking about 0.1 of one percent of the female population. GG's don't have fetishes any more than adult men do. Those that are attracted to MtF crossdressers because of their crossdressing are few and far between. Crossdressers who are romantically/sexually interested in women need to do the same things that non-crossdressers do: appeal to them in terms of common interests, commor values, and compatibility in other ways. Assuming that we confess our crossdressing and they don't head for the hills, the issue will become one of compromise. Crossdressers who think that genetic women will be attracted to them because of their crossdressing need to understand that the situation is a lot more complicated than that.
