Personally, I'm more of a tomboyish "soccer Mom" type in everyday life but over the years have found that I can be a polished lady at formal events, etc. when necessary, using "prim and proper" etiquette. I find it quite amazing that over our lifetimes, many of us can take a rough and tumble kid and turn him into an elegant polished lady. That, in itself. tells me I was born to be this way and do this. I enjoy being a man but really enjoy being a lady as well.My GF can attest to that. How many others feel this way?:battingeyelashes::)

I can't say that I enjoy being a man. I think it actually sucks... lol. But, it's the hand I've been dealt!

As for my lady side... yeah, I can be pretty polished if need be. :)

I would put myself into the conservative polished side of things. I tend to be prim and proper.

I've always seen myself as a gentlemen, and naturally as a gentle women also. I like both of us!

My girls strives to make me a proper girl. When she first found my clothes. she refered to me as a cyndi lauper. Since then we purged my things and started fresh and look at me now. At times she still corrects hose little things here n there. and I love her for that.

Hard to take on old beach kid and turn him into a proper lady!

I dress up very elegantly occasionally, Kate. But, "Classy"? I don't think so. I'd say Sherry may have a bit of, "Style", tho?

I can do it but I like to enjoy myself, so I am a bit outgoing if I get hold of the floor.

As a retiree I can say I have enjoyed being a male and doing male things. I also think I clean up nicely. If you mean 'prim and proper' I fit the definition. I enjoy dressing my age, which does not mean 'granny panties.' It also means having learned how to walk and sit as a 'proper woman.' I am surprised when I go to the mall and see the numerous women who jump 'lumber' along without poise. Frankly, how you view yourself is easily projected to those around you by the way you carry yourself.

I can go either way...polished or to the soccer field, depending on my mood and what I might be doing.
As for "enjoying" being male...I don't think so. In fact I don't know if I ever enjoyed it.

Definitely a polished lady all the way. Even when casual I am dressed very nice. A little sexy is ok but no too much. If I want to look less so I dress as a man.

When I was in my 20s I would have fit right in with the women in The Help or Ad Men. I was fortunate enough to have a very nice wardrobe. I was never a tomboy, but could iron and sew. While I got away with going out and passing, as a date. I wasn't good enough to attend luncheons. I dated several girls who attended afternoon teas wearing white gloves and was their escort for balls.

Today, I'm comfortable with living a casual resort style.

I try to be a bit more refined in "Amy mode." I don't swear, for instance, because it wouldn't be "ladylike," whereas, in guy mode, I can cuss a blue streak when necessary. ;)

I also tend to dress fairly conservatively, preferring sleeves, flattering but not plunging necklines, and skirts at about knee-length or longer. Maybe that makes me "old-fashioned," but it feels "right" to me.

I'm quite elegant and regal when out at most events. Easily done with my vast collection of dresses, bridal attire, designer gowns and fabulous costumes. It's important to always look amazing when in public in case Model Agency Scouts are nearby.

Definitely not polished. However, I do like to dress in a slightly more business casual style. I don't mind being a guy, but I do enjoy my time as Marlana.

Honey, I am so polished, I shine. People put their sunglasses on when they see me coming.

I dress nice but you ever seen a polished coal miner? lol

No, but I've seen a Polish coal miner.

As polished as can be. Love it. I try as humanly as possible to blend in with 'ladies who lunch' in center city Philly.
Skirt suits are the bomb!

Best,

Not so much 'polished' but more business dressy (if that is a term).

Even when in my youth I never wore a mini or tried for the Twiggy look (yeah, I am that old, I did have great looking legs and I could hide behind Twiggy!)

Today, I am more apt to shop at Chicos and Nordies.

Polished when appropriate, casual when appropriate. I try to avoid frumpy! :)

I never enjoyed being a man! I'm more of a redneck girl who enjoys life as such!
