Don's Ask, Don't Tell-DADT...Means don't ask about my sexual orientation. President Clinton started this police in regard to the U.S. Armed Forces. In many situations CD's with spouses or significent others adopt this policy.

Basically, for crossdressers, it means that your wife or SO knows you crossdress but doesn't want to see or talk about it. Better than trying to hide it from her, but not as good as her tolerance or acceptance of you dressing in front of her.

But ask yourself if being in that sort of relationship is wise. Keeping something from your SO can be worse when they find out. Explore other threads in the archives about telling ones SO.

Shellie, the only stupid questions I know of are those that don't get asked at some point.

If you don't know the answer how can the question be stupid.
I was helping set rabbit traps when I was very young, I asked what bait do you use.
Yes rabbit traps are banned these days, they are a cruel way to trap any wildlife.

Others have answered your dadt question. For future reference, give this a shot: an acronym finder (www.acronymfinder.com/). It can come in handy!
