I went to my local Faternal organization to have a drink at the bar. I sat next to a young woman and her male friend that I had gone to High School 35 years ago. We sat and had friendly conversation, and then she looked intently at my hands and asked in a matter of fact type way, "You paint your nails?" I sat there a second, the guy sitting on the other side of her listening, and then I replied, "Yes, I do!" "I like them that way" She replied "Yes, I am all about the details" and smiled.
I felt pretty good about myself being honest about who I am. We all three sat and had conversation the rest of the evening and all was good with the world!
