According to a letter I received today, I am now a Mrs. :)

The letter was addressed to Dr. (my wife's name) and Mrs. (my last name). I mean, I know my wife is awesome and all, and I am but a pale shadow of her intelligence, wit, and style, but, . . .

Gotta love old-fashioned databases, eh?

if
addresseeTitle = "Doctor"

then

secondAddresseeTitle = "Mrs."

Just some geek humor for you today.

:)

Hang on to this, maybe it could be an official document recognizing who you are. Worked for Santa Claus.

I love that. A very famous Toronto musician legally changed his name to Mendelson Joe, so his mail would be addressed to Joe Mendelson, his old name.-Celeste

But it is so true and when it happens here my wife gets all pissed off at the sender.

Though it has not happened in a while. I get the same thing. My first name is often confused as being female. So I get mail addressed as MRS. Kind of ironic.:heehee::D

I quite often answer questionnaires with a double meaning or something to upset that old database routine.
Having a university background I often get my honorary Phd.

Yes - congratulations.
Now - tell your Doctor to make an honest wife out of you - and start planning a new wedding.

Assumptions like that burn me up. We have a friend who is a medical doctor, and she tells us how so many people assume she must be a nurse. I mean, hello, welcome to the 21st century. Although, I'm sure the side effect must have been nice for you.
