Though a lot of my friends noticed that I dropped a lot of weight last summer, there were none of them that I could tell I was wearing size 12 again. :battingeyelashes:

Happy to find a group of girls I could share it with in just those words!

Im in the same boat, I need to get back into my size 12s too. In guy mode, I joke in mixed company that im losing weight to get into a smaller dress size. If they only know the truth behind the sarcasm.

I appreciated your nice comment on my wiggle dress picture Jan.

Now you are also down to a size 12 it’s your turn to wear one and wiggle, yes?:)

Absolutely ditto on this one. I used it with two GGs at work last week, said it was a 'drop a dress size for XMAS' diet and everyone laughed along. Actually, my weight is stagnant at this point but who cares, the truth is in there somewhere.

Getting from 14 to 10 is a little harder.
When I go on a long trip I can lose 14 lbs. 3 months away.

How great is that? I WISH I could get down to a 12! I have lost quite a bit this year; 22 down to an 18, almost to 16. I know tha fantastic feeling of losing. And I'll be waiting to see your wiggle dress!

Cograts to you on your new size! I guess shopping is in order. I find the desire to wear nice clothes is a great exercise motivator for me! I guess it is one of the many perks from being a crossdresser!

Congrats on the weight lose. That's got to feel good. Trying to get down to a 10 myself for my wedding in June. I know I can do it.

(I'm not wearing a dress, but joking with my fiance about it.)

Congratulations! I'm celebrating a weight loss that got me down from a 28 to a 22, hoping eventually for 18/20 -- I'm a big-and-tall gal, so I don't expect smaller than that ;)

I have gone from 22 down to 14 and not sure how low I can go. I think I can go as low as a 9 but not sure, I still have at least 50 lbs to lose so we will see. It will be nice because the selection is so much better once I am out of the plus section. I have gone from 263 to 186 so far and my goal is 130 or so. I will see how I am then, I just want to lose the fat so I will stop when I get to the point that I think is fit without being emaciated.

Congratulations! I know how difficult weight loss can be! I had tried various things for several years, but nothing seemed to work. Then nearly 2 years ago I got some pictures taken of me all "femmed" up and realized how fat I looked. That motivated me to try again. I managed to lose about a pound a week for over a year. Went from a size 18 to an 8. My old skirts would slip right off; even shoes got looser. That was one time I got rid of most of my old stuff and was happy about it. LOL And it's been so much fun rebuilding my wardrobe (male clothes, too). Have fun shopping for new clothes! :)

Wow. Congratulations. I'm working on fitting back into the size 16's I own. I intend to find out how much fun a Size 12 can be, but for now, one step at a time.

That's great! I wish I could get back to at least the size 18 I was out of high school. The selections are much better for that size and under than for the size 20/2X that I am now, even in the "tall misses" category I used to buy from.

Yay, Jan! That's a great accomplishment for anyone, but isn't all the sweeter when it helps us slip into cuter clothes? Makes the effort so worthwhile!

It’s funny how we all think in terms of dress sizes when we want to lose weight. No one is saying, “Boy I really want to fit into those 32” waist pants again.” Congratulations, Jan, on reaching your goal size. I’m traveling a similar path, size-wise. I’m only halfway there, but I’m happy with the progress so far. Here’s to a slimmer and healthier New Year for all of us.

Wow that's great! Sadly I've slowly crept up in size over the last few years. When I started I was a 14 (though the wife did squeeze me into a 12 on occasion, it didn't look right). Now I'm 16/18 depending on the brand of clothing. I really want to get my weight back down - a legitimate 12 would be incredible!!

I definitely agree the clothes get better looking as the sizes go down. I've been disappointed more than a few times when the wife brings something home that looks awesome and doesn't come in my size. So frustrating!

Awesome! congrats & nicely done. Allow me to express my envy [n a good way]! Right now I'd be happy to get into the size 18 pencil skirt I got a reaaally good deal on. Of course that will require fixing the hook ripped out trying it on in the first place.

No matter, Well done & keep it up!

Isnt that a great feeling to have, Congratulations!!!
I remember I started at a 18/16 depending on the brand and I am now wearing size 12 also, some of them are even loose fitting, I was so excited I went out and bought a pair of 10's, I cant fit in them yet but when I do I will tell the world :)

Oh and keep it up

Isn't it terrific to compare our weight issues! There is just something so classic about it!

For me, losing weight has two issues: One: get my upper body down to a size 38 bra since it seems that is where the flexibility in buying a bra seems to start! Two: get my lower body to a true size 8...by that I mean that my hip measurement is a size 8, but to get to a true size 8 I need to get my waist 10 inches smaller. I'm not going to make that easily, but if I can get within 3 inches, my waist cincher will take care of the rest! I'm only 3.5 inches away and dropping!!!

:)

Dittooo girl... The best part of losing the lbs is the size purge of the wardrobe. It's the only purge that I enjoy nowadays....
