I was wondering after reading about tucking and the effects on your sperm transfered to the Testosterone your body produced. I am sure a few people on here may have been tucking for years and I wondered if they have seen a drop in their count? I am not proposing that tucking will turn you into a women just wondering if it blocked.

Quickest way to be a woman for sure...tucking... I imagine you do it to make your "thingie" go away for how long? Not forever,as you want to make kids and use your "thingie"..So,if you are temporarily abusive to your "thingie's" home,I suspect that during all the other hours it is running loose,it will recover from what you did to it. The duct tape probably harms it more in the long run, pulling the skin off and all! lol

Yes I think. When we were having kids, one doctor told me to wear boxers, and not tighty-whities. Haveing the jewels up close caused them to be warmer and thus could lower sperm count.

Sperm count and testosterone are two different things.

Testosterone levels normally decrease in males as they age so tucking or not, they will decrease over time. I doubt tucking has any effect on testosterone levels, but your doctor would be the most reliable source of information.

Thanx for the page. Not sure I understand it 100% as it seemed to talk in circles. The thought though is if the heat not only lowers count which is proven but if it acts like a natural T blocker too.

Hi, Steph, you're welcome! I understood that after being exposed to heat sperm count drops and T baselines don't, at least not immediately. After continued and non-interrupted exposure to heat, testes start to shrink and that's when one could start to see a lower T count. But, who knows, I'm just a curious mind, not a doctor or scientist to vouch for any of this.

There are herbs and other supplements that act as a natural T blocker. However I DO NOT suggest taking anything without discussing it with a doctor because contrary to popular belief not all herbs are safe for certain people especially if you are diabetic or on heart medications.

"T" (testosterone) is necessary in males for good health, stamina, and muscle function. Think seriously and consult a doctor before trying any "tricks" to lower it.

Having had my T checked recently and having been tucking daily for years I can say it has had no effect. As for sperm count, I have had my tubes tied so mine is zero anyway. Well I guess the little swimmers are still being produced, they just can't get out...

My short answer would be no but only based on my own experience. I had read many years ago how the sperm count was reduced in some Native Americans with certain men who for whatever reason were designated to live as women.:)

No effect that I could see and I've been tucking for 7 years now. Of course if it did lower my T and allow the female hormones in me to take more prominence I would not object one bit.

Nope, tucking is just tucking. Sperm count is affected by temperature, so tucking could affect that. But testosterone is another matter, as so many have pointed out. Tucking wont reduce T levels but Time will.
