View Full Version : R.l.e.
I have read perhaps million frivolous threads about if and when someone looked that good they would love to be a house wife taken care of by a handsome hubby. LOL!
I have lived the dream to achieve passability without a question as to my gender, being viewed as, interacted with and accepted in every situation as a woman.
I fought for this with tooth and nail or rather with the same frivolous dream as I have mentioned above less the house wife bit. We need to dream, we need to really believe in the end result otherwise we are doomed from the start.
But RLE, Real Life Experience and not the term used to determine eligibility in the transsexual CLUB :) but the Real life Experience of living as a woman is quite different from stereotypical imaginings.
Well, it just is REAL LIFE!
You get up 1-2 hours earlier then you used to as a male, prep takes a bit when you hold your eyes open with tooth picks attempting to line your eyes.
Then you get to the job, well if you really dreamed the dream, and you are a house wife, you skip the professional make up part and just get you butty to work looking drab. Breakfast, kids to school, oh wait!!!! No Kids? Oh I thought you dreamed of being a house wife? What you say???? Ohhhhhhh, that kind of house wife!!!
Well, RLE allows for such possibility, if you are 20something, hot like a Playboy bunny, and well lets just say, not too carrier driven.
So in a nut shell, YES it is mesmerizing and increadible, and wonderful being you, but the part which is called LIFE does not escape us, but is reshaped to accept REAL us, women in the world!!!!

Where would any of us be without our dreams? What would give us the added incentive to move forward towards success? I shudder to think where I personally would be had I not "dared to dream"

LOL, I honestly believe that with your looks and age, you DO qualify for that "California Hot House Wife" image, however knowing from your posts, life is, well, life! And Yes, Dream is a fundamental part of making strides to achieve the ever illusive Wholeness through transition, however when we get there, life takes over and becomes Real and Normal. Just as you though, I am forever immensely fulfilled with living this life according to my Truth!

My point being.... If starts with the dream. Where it goes from there is anybody's guess. Are you saying that you are satisfied with where you are? That's all no more, no more dreams just real life?

Life is a secession of dreams fulfilled or failed. If your not dreaming your not living.
yes, yes I know! But the post is not about dreams and how important they are but Real Life Experience  :D

Hi,
Hmmmm,
so if im not dreaming im not liveing , what if my realaity was my dream what if i knew my dream & where it was going, what if my real life has allways been the dream, what if i did not change & my dream was i had to grow, & in so doing my dream was allways real. even till now, just i had to live with in that dream to get here, now,.
or maybe im still dreaming & its not real. heck im lost now,
I think my friends will wake me up, maybe they are a part of my dream what was my dream about any way. to grow to live & to be who i am & that was / is a female / woman from birth, well the woman had to grow into that part, my friends can tell of that side of myself, they know, & Jos , well after 39 years, the dream still goes on,

It is of Real Life Experience which I speak. If you have no vision, dream, or direction, you will not move forward. You will stagnate and never achieve anything.

I think what we are being told here is that there is a whole lot of fantasy (millions of flivirous dream posts) as opposed to the reality of "real life " of transitioners.

Dreams turn into goals, goals turn into achievements.
You have to have a dream to start with.
You don't have to be a hard headed woman.
I knew some and they are not my friends any more.
