I've been considering getting some shoes, been watching some on eBay, but I thought, as nice as these sexy high heels are, I've never walked in them! So my SO said to me to find a place to try some on! Now, I've got a UK size 12 shoe, that's not easy to find a store that caters for that size! She found a website with a list of specialist stores and there was one in a small village 5 miles from me!!!
I decided to call them and ask if I needed a bigger size n if I could come in n try some on, they were really helpful and said I'd be welcome in full dress (never gone out in public so as nice as that was I wasn't going to!), but I underdressed and went :-)
They had several in my size, not quite the style I wanted, but I tried them all! It was amazing, partly just being out in public exposing my pantyhose covered feet n legging covered legs (under my pulled up jeans), and for the sheer fact of wearing heels!
Albeit the heels weren't massive (about 2.5") I walked in them like a natural, it fiercened up my walk! I didn't buy any heels but got some sexy black leather gladiator sandals which still make me feel fierce ;-) and I even had to go back out to get some nail polish for my toes!!!!
I'm gonna try a FULL dress up this weekend when I go to see my girl n she's gonna do my make up n everything!!
I'm so excited and kinda developing a love for shoes hehe

I love wearing heels! It takes a bit of practice, but it should come right along. Have fun in full dress and enjoy the makeover!

I've been getting more practice in wearing heels here at home. My fiancee is jealous that I can manage so well in them, and that I can wear so many different styles of shoes. (Her feet are swollen from earlier medical problems, so she's limited in the styles of shoe she can wear.) I'm 11 Wide in U.S. sizing, and my shoes were ordered online. Just this week, I got in a new pair of Easy Street boots with about a 2-1/2" heel, and they fit like a dream!

I've never worn a pair of heels in my life, but TBH it's one thing I'm dreadfully interested in. Unfortunately I wear a men's 13W and so there's never been a woman in my life whose shoes I could sneak into on occasion. For now, I just live vicariously through stories like in the OP!

It takes a little practice, start with low heels.

I now have 3 pair of shoes and the first two were heels because I wanted them for the first 2 outfits I purchased. I have no trouble at all walking in them, but did buy my first flats last week mostly for the same reason anyone does, more practical in everyday life--despite my own desires, not every day is a heels day.

I originally thought shoes were a boring add on, after wearing them though I was hooked, I love shoes, however impractical for an at home only dresser, I can do laps in the basement :-) My wife doesn't wear heels cause she towers over me so I have worn hers quite a bit, just to wear, its the one thing that we share a size in, and fortunately she hasn't made the connection that her 8 is equal to my 7 :-)
