I am in my 50s and finally said to myself that i have the right to shop in womens dept

i went to wall--mart and was brousing thru the womens area --no one gave me a bad look --i was looking at sizes --holding up the sweaters and blouses to see how they would look---such pretty clothes for the women ---bright perky

bought a couple of tops a scarf etc ---it is such a rush for me to do this
pretty pink --red --green tops ---nice skirts

in the womans shoe dept one clerk was helping me find womans shoes in my size --no problem --how do they walk in heels???? almost broke my leg

could shop till i drop

I must say I have no idea how you all come up with the courage to go shopping. I have only done some shoping with my wife. And that was only for lingerie.

I am not sure that I could ever do that. Although I must admit that it would be quite a rush to try on a dress or pair of heels in a store.

Hello Jayne, it is nothing better than going shopping for women's clothes, it is better than shopping on internet. Way to go keep it up.

The only time I have ever had the nerve to go shopping like that was in a town far away knowing that I would never see anyone there again.

You know, I have never had any problems shopping for clothes, no matter how I'm dressed. The stores are there to make money, yours is as good as anybodys.

I too am in my 50's andf I love to shop day or night, with or with out my SO. I have had no trouble where evere I shop or go to Pay my bills,I dress every time I am off work and would dress at work if my boss would allow it but he dosen't. I feel I've been kept in a closet long enough by my pevious SO's and am not going back in the closet for anyone .I've been dressing all my life with my mom and older sisters help so I feel I have earned the right to be a girl .

Way to go. Shopping is so much fun.
The one thing to remember is they just want your green stuff.
They dont care who they get it from.

You always remember your first shopping experience. Then the few hundred trips each year kind of blur together, but there are always those notable occasions that you'll remember. Shopping is great fun, and if I didn't go shopping, where would I wear all of my great clothes?

Warm regards,
Christina Nicole
