Good story, a very lucky person to have a mate and a career job that understood this.

It's news in Nebraska maybe, but not to the rest of the world. I personally know 4 transgender people, right here in my county. In fack, one of them was a client of mine, she is stunning by the way, and just a lovely person to know. But it was probably a shock to Nebraska.

Nebraska .is such a consertive state in general that yes it caused rif here in the state. my son goes to U.N.O. and i have no problems with it (i wounder why) i have to admire the pro. for his openness a man/women who had given so much to our children here in nebr. a man who put his whole life on the line to be what he wanted to be. i don't think there could be a better representive of crossgender/crossdresser .
i can't imagine what he went threw mentaly but i do think it will help us all.

This story reminds me of a very well made movie titled, "Normal". If you haven't seen it I highly recommend it! It is a roller coaster of emotions that is evoked from you as you watch it!!! Has anybody seen it?? It stars Jessica Lange and Tom Wilkinson.

Yes I've seen the movie. It is absolutely worth the time. Some people do not realize how much courage it takes to be true to ourselves. And they want to critisize us for being less manly than those so called "normal" men. If they could only understand just how much intestinal fortitude it takes to come out. Its funny how sometime sfeeling like a girl inside makes you act in a more manly fashion outside. Just saying that courage is a typically thought of masculine trait. (it shouldn't be gender exclusive, just another example of how society dictates how we should live) And that we have to utilize it so we can feel our feminine traits.

Walley/Meridith Bacon has been a presenter at many IFGE conferences and we have watched him transition. An interesting story.

I was really hoping that someone at least one person might be able to use this to help them move forward. I dont think it matters where it made the news as much as HEY PEOPLE LOOK and get used to it cus there will be more. If a Professor can do it and keep his/her family and job and respect of the town hey I think my peasant ass can go shopping enfemme.
