View Full Version : The end result

I am experimenting with my look at the moment working out what looks good and what doesn't and today i look like a $2 hooker oh well lives and learns don't you. I tend to enjoy the process more than the end result I guess it is because I know the end result isn't going to be that good and I could never look feminine no matter how hard I try. When I put on the clothes and make up it is the anticipation and the ritual I seem to enjoy more rather than the end result. Cross dressing for me is addictive and the more I dress the more I want to if you know what I mean. So I will carry on regardless of the end result and enjoy the process each time I dress and maybe I will get the result I am looking for. I would appreciate it if anyone has a magic wand they could wave in my direction.

That's a healthy attitude to espouse, but may I ask just what leads you to believe that you resemble a $2 hooker and prevents you from ever looking feminine? If so, there's a good chance that one of us might be able to send a little magic your way :]

Is the hooker quote in regard to your make up or your outfit? If you want some help you will need to post a dreaded picture lol :)

You never know just what you can do until you try. I accepted the challenge to do a private lap dance en femme for someone just to see if I could do it(along with 4 outfit changes) and I succeeded. It actually went much better than I expected it would. Talk about confidence builders. :battingeyelashes::)

Andrea, So whats wrong with a 2 dollar hooker? Its when You look in the mirror and a smile appears on Your face then You achieved perfection. Hugs Roberta

OMG, are you serious? That sounds like it would be a blast xD Oh yeah. I danced to four songs with four costume and wig changes. Two Sheena Easton songs, One Taylor Dayne song and one Whitney Houston song. It was a lot of fun.:)

Keep experimenting and you will eventually look like a million dollars.
$2 hookers probably have a lot of fun without making much money, so if you think you like a $2 one now do not despair
you will eventually look like a $100 one and probably spent a lot more on your appearance by then.
Keep experimenting and enjoy, you are the only one that can wave the magic wand successfully.

Well! You've just helped me tack another item to my list of future goals, Kate! xD
Also, I'm going to run some math on that $2 hooker thing. I'm thinking a $2 hooker would have to work a secondary job if they were working at such a low rate. So, even if it were true, you'd still be a hard worker. I'm willing to bet it isn't true, though. :P
Here's what I'll throw in before I take my nap in my futile effort to correct my sleeping schedule before classes resume:
My dressing, personally, has snowballed -- both in terms of its extent and its quality (in fact, I discussed this with my therapist yesterday while we discussed things which were "going well"). It began with wigs and skirts and the like -- when I was very young -- declined a bit during early adolescence (due to a lack of access to wigs x], everything else remained the same) and has continued to escalate as I've gotten older. Anyway, to get to the point, if I were to have been asked whether I'd thought I'd ever properly achieve a feminine image, if I would ever be content with my appearance, if I would ever look as good as I feel I do now? I would have said "No". But one day, after you've accrued experience and made improvements to your presentation, you will look in the mirror, you will smile at yourself, and feel absolutely stunned that you've come as far as you have :]

I am sure the prisoner when released after years must just love to be outside. you have been released so you are jumping in. Don't worry, in all likelihood, you'll slow on your own.
and regarding the poor results you are seeing, as Becky wrote, post a picture and you'll get feedback....

I hated it when I experimented and ended up looking like a two dollar hooker. But I kept at it, trying to improve my look - the look of a ten dollar hooker.

I'm thinking that this isn't exactly an addiction any more than dressing in expensive business suits is an addition (I've done both). If we remove all the stigma, let's say, for example that we're all dressing in period correct Civil War outfits (gender consistent). No one would even care. No one would call it an addition. It would just be another hobby. It's all the swirl of mystique and secrecy and gender threat that it causes that elicits sometimes negative reactions that make it unique. Now to me, dressing up like a circus clown is way more scary than CDing and I'd really wonder about someone who did that ;-)

I admit, I'm trying to look like a $500 hooker :-)

A $2 hooker attracts a $2 John. Neither looks like anything I'd want to be!

I like everyone's replies so far. I would just like to say that I too enjoy that process of finding what works the best for me from my closeted stock of clothes and accessories. It really is a lot of fun experimenting with different looks, even if they are at home outfits versus going out outfits. I sometimes like to compare life, sex and a lot of other things with the saying, "One should enjoy the trip almost as much as the destination."

I have tried to post a photo of myself but my camera has too much resolution for this forum I will have to get a cheaper camera before i can post so watch this space many thanks all
Bear in mind that real girls get to practice from very young! Pics are helpful even if you don't post... If I look at what I was achieving 10 years ago compared to now there is no comparison - if I was brave enough I would share! Not so much a $2 hooker, more a grannie with a severe disorder! My first wigs were just so bad, and make-up? Dress sense?
We are all on a journey... enjoy the process... so much better than any end result!

Andrea, I feel the same way, I thought it was just me, I really enjoy the anticipation and dressing, however once dressed I feel less rewarded.

Oh, you don't have to do that. Just use a graphic editing program to crop and resize your pictures to the right size for posting here. I do that all the time, using The GIMP (a free image editing program).
As for "looking like a $2 hooker"...it does take practice to look good with makeup, but anything improves with practice. It also helps to have a GG on hand to critique your look. I've been working on a "lighter" makeup look that isn't as elaborate to put on and doesn't look as "made up," and my fiancee has been a good guide in these efforts.

Not that I everknew, but heard about them, but that was a really really long time ago, so at that time that $2 might have been real money, and the girls at that time might have been lookers, so in my mind if i can get to look like one of those, I just might remember a good looking girl. However, I refuse to transpose my mind into today's market.
Seriously, at different times we all get different, and often really unexpected results. Often some have been not even remotely what could be considered feminine. Practice, practice, practice.

The process sure is fun but never say never! There have been a few threads recently showing the change of looks people have achieved over time and it can be dramatic. Maybe those could inspire you. Regardless, you're right to carry on and have fun no matter what. Keep it up! :)
