I've had my 4" stiletto court shoes for just over week now.

They took some getting into at first, so suggested to wife i may need some of her legware; stockings, so they kept falling down. Can't be doing with the sus belt... may sound strange to you all, but that's a step too far for me. For me it's about being able to feel what a woman feels, not "being", or "becoming", a woman or TV per se.

I ordered some sheer black 10 deniers (OMG they're unreal!), and now my feet just slip into my shoes - well alsmost!

To my point...

It took me no time at all to master walking in them, and can now actually jog for a few metres in them. Changing direction is easy, and they feel so comfy. Slightly cramped toes afterwards but the pleasure of wearing them disguises any mild discomfort. I should say that I never (need to) wear them for more than say 10-15 mins max. I feel so "at one" with them; is this "skill" normal?

The fact that I can feel what a woman feels is so exciting and empowering

It's also a whole different feeling dancing in them my friend. Hard to describe. It's as easy or as difficult as we make it in any case.:battingeyelashes::)

Kate, I hadn't thought of that... I'll try tomorrow morning

Ummmm, you're not supposed to be jogging in heels.

Some members have said that it takes practice to walk in heels but the first time I ever put on 4” heels I felt completely at home in them.

I have even jogged in them to get to the phone at the other side of the house and danced in them with a friend.:)

Suzy, yes, that's how I felt (feel). I only tried jogging to test the limits of the comfort zone; no problem. I have no desire or inclination to venture further than the privacy of home, so distance will be restricted accordingly.

Walking in high heels is not difficult. The best way to do it is just put on your shoes and walk.

The only time you should have to jog in high heels is to get out of the rain.
I don't think they were designed for anything but causing discomfort for women and eye candy for men.
Some CDer's have a propensity for wanting to wear them because they think they turn them into something else.

You're doing well if you can jog in heels.:) I love going to the casino on Halloween watching the girls stumbling around in heels. Last year I saw a girl with the same heels as me stumbling around. My wife and I had a big smile over that one! I just said to my wife they should take them off and carry them instead. I suppose most of them had a few drinks though.:)

Wear them for 8 hours and get back to us! lol. So why is it that you only wear them for 15 minutes at a time? :D

I am going to call bull on "mastering" them. No way. Yes, you can walk in them, but can you really walk say, 500 yards without stoping and NOT looking like a dude slogging along. Carpet is very forgiving but what did your posture look like? I suspect you are being overly kind to your "mastery." I have been walking in 3" and 3.5" heels for two years and have not mastered them, but I can walk passably.

Get the video camera out, walk down your hallway or sidewalk for 50 steps, review.

I've worn 5 inch heels every day, all day, for a week at Esprit last year. I'll be doing it again this year. Heels all day? No problem at all. :D

I have no trouble walking in heels however the trouble I do have with some of them is keeping them on as I walk.

I understand Karren... thing is though, although I like to wear them, I need to wear them for a short time because... well sorry but I can't say, it's not that kind of a forum ! ;)

I agree, wear them in the real world and then talk about how easy you have it.

You have to ask???

Careful about dancing in heels. I'm a dancer and the ballroom women's shoes have some really special support that's needed or you can really be in some pain. I dance every night (kind of like Zoomba) and I'm not using the best heels for it. I've needed to take a break here and there and get some foot massage to deal with it because I'm pretty consistent with it.

Definitely don't run in heels! There's some great videos on YT on how to walk in them. One of the things is heel to toe. The other is sinking your hip. Try standing still and putting a bag of groceries on one hip and letting the other one drop with a bent knee. See if you can get the tilt really far. This will open up your hips. Then work on just relaxing fully into each step. It might even help to have a martini or two in the beginning plus it's fun while you're learning to party a little :-)

My band played a very expensive private high school's prom. I laughed my butt off as two hundred teenage girls hobbled in on impossibly high heels. Six inches with platforms was the de rigeur shoe, and clearly, most of them forgot to test run them beforehand. To top it off, seventeen year olds aren't the most graceful things on earth, so most of them sat around with their knees apart, in micro mini formal dresses (what ever happened to prom gowns?) showing the whole world their black thongs.-Celeste

I find my 4" heels are a little hard to walk in normal, now crazy as it sounds I am at home in 3 3/4" heels and I go everywear in them. Could just be the shoe, or 4" is to much for this gal.

I am new to openly cross dressing in front of my wife and have just got my first pair of heels. I am a size 10 UK and could only acquire size 9 open toe shoes. I love to wear them but only for short periods as they are not comfortable at all. I am thinking of buying some boots next as I love the look of them

Thankfully, I consider myself too tall to wear 4" heels. Heck the last time I wore them "regularly" was when I was 15 and 5'6" so it wasn't a big deal. I bought a pair once while I was full time. I think I wore them once. I was a bit self conscious at 6'7 altitude...

Indeed! It takes a long time to really master the heels. In the beginning I could walk in them no problem, but looking feminine while doing it took about a year wearing them every other day for about 4-5 hours a day and sometimes for even more hours on the weekend.

I'm happy to report that my wife thinks that I'm better than her now :D

Heels are not horribly hard to walk around in but they are kind of for limited use.
Even though some find it a turn on to be walking around in heels, the things are just not good for your feet.If the good Lord intended for humans to walk in heels much, he would not have made our feet 90 degrees from our shins

Let me tell everyone, it can be really rough chaperoning these events too.

I find this discussion rather odd. I've never known a woman who liked spending a whole day on her feet, wearing heels. To me it seems like just the CD'ers desire to fully immerse themselves into what they think women do and think it's normal.
