It's All About The Shoes!

My new shoes arrived today:

I work from home, and I tried to put the box aside and wait for this evening to open it. But it was calling to me seductively the whole time and I eventually broke down and tried them on with my drab pants. I love these shoes and I can't wait for my jeans to come in so I will have something to wear with them (although I think they'd also go well with a long skirt).

Unfortunately, I have to go to the dentist in a little while, so I have to change back into my boring guy hikers... :(

These are the first pair I've owned that have any sort of heel on them. It's definitely going to take some getting used to and I am in awe of you ladies who can wear those 5" spike stilettos.

I'd always liked buying shoes in guy mode, but felt a bit odd, since guys aren't supposed to have a bunch of shoes. So I surpressed those feelings and tried to keep my collection down to manageable levels. But now that I'm finally letting my true feelings come out it's kind of amazing. I didn't realize it was that intense!

I just have to be careful to pace myself, and buy a few things at a time so I don't break the bank. But it's hard sometimes to wait.

So many clothes (and shoes)... but so little time (and money)...

I know exactly what u mean I love to buy new heels all the time if I go into a shoe store I look to see what new shoes they have out if I like what I see I buy them. My passion is 5 inch heels I also have one pair at almost 7". takes practice but that's half the fun . Have fun wearing your new shoes.:thumbsup:

So do I, hunny!! But, then again, I only ever had two pairs of guy shoes: 1 casual, 1 formal... But that's one of the reasons I love female clothes - the choice. :D

That's a big part of it for me..choices. A girl can have 10 pairs of black shoes all different . A guy can have 2...3?

There is no reason why you could not have worn those beautiful shoes to the dentist. After all, women frequently wear men's shoes.

I really believe the real litmus test for me to see if I have an extra female chromosome and to explain my CD ways, is that I love womens shoes. I have a closet full of womens shoes and am still looking for more every time I shop!!! I am not this way at all in guy mode. 1 or 2 pairs - I am fine. Look for shoes - Not Interested! I really must have an extra female chromosome from birth to be part woman!!!
Speaking of heels - yesterday I was out in heels efem for some 5 to 6 hours. Shopping, etc. And last night and today I am sore as if I ran a marathon!!! My legs are exhausted and sore!!
My hats off to GG's that wear heels all the time. Talking about dangerous? All it takes is too much weight on one foot, wet surface and there goes Ms CDer bumbling in front of the crowd!! I walk pretty careful now!!
And how about those corns and totally abused little toe nails!!?? All because of these shoes we squeeze our feet in.
But here is nothing that can set off a pair of jeans or dress - than the shoes!
