Hi Cassexy
If you feel that your body truly does not match your gender or are not sure where you fit in the the gender spectrum look in the transsexual forum. This is a place for transsexual women to discuss issues and to find support along their long journey. I would suggest reading a lot in that forum. You will find many answers to your questions. If you feel compelled to post after doing a lot of reading be respectful.

As Kelley has said the transsexual forum is a place of good information.
To answer your question a lot of our members have undergone transition.
Being simplistic the procedure is see a therapist, a doctor will then prescribe hormone treatment, live 12 months full time as a woman and then the final operation.
There is a lot in between that you need to find out about first. Your suitability psychologically and mental state are just for starters.
There are a number of sites on the net outlining various procedures for becoming a woman.
