Been a while, so here's an update

Hey everyone, it's been a very long time since I've posted, so I thought I'd give an update on my progress. I am now about fourteen months in to HRT. I had my name and gender marker legally changed back in August, thanks to my amazing aunt (she's an attorney, so she wrote up the order for the judge and presented me on my court date). I'm five sessions in to laser on my face and seeing significant progress. After much thought and consideration, I have started going back to college so I may finally have a career that will afford me SRS. I am majoring in paralegal, with the goal of working as a paralegal until I get my BA, and then saving for and getting my SRS before moving on to law school. I don't know what field of law I want to practice, but I am currently hoping I can do something to help the trans community.

It's great to read about how things can work out for the best..what you have done is a very major accomplishment!!

i agree that you are a great example of having a plan and keeping your head on straight...focused on your goal but not freaking out about it...i have always felt that approaching transition with a cold logical point of view gives you the best chance for a good transition...plan plan plan....execute execute execute...and yes i was a "boss" in my prior life

That is a very laudable ambition and with the plan you have already laid out you still have plenty of time to consider which area of law you might want to take.
