Hee hee, I love high heels, just wish they were as comfortable as regular shoes. In fact, I'm still waiting for UPS to bring me my new black pumps. I can never find them big enough in the store, so Amazon.com is my friend. Have fun with those heels!

Nothing like opening the box of your first pair of high heels! Then, trying them on. And if they don't seem to fit at first, keep trying. Mine were seemingly to small at first, but with a little time, they fit.

Take your time and enjoy them. Take a few steps and sit back down. Also, try leading with your toe, in other words, toe down first, not the heel. It takes some intense practicing if they're high.

You can also practice standing and sinking a hip. Pretend you've got a big bag of groceries on one hip and drop the other. Do that over and over till your hips start loosening up. When you walk, just relax into the step. There's some great videos on line that talk about walking in heels (for girls) but they serve us well!

Don't start on the carpet! Go in the kitchen or back hallway where there is hard flooring. You have to work up to carpet.

I think my cheeks were red and I rather stammered when I paid for the heels.
Nowadays I usually order my heels by internet.
