Long time no see

I'm going through a time of great excitement and scary times. I just started permanent beard removal, and in the next few months I should be on hormones. a female co-worker asked me outright about some changes I was making (long hair, peirced ears, shiny nails etc...) now she knows and is accepting, and I'm serisouly thinking about telling my boss (who is also my friend and I'll be going to his house tomorrow night)

I currently live with my conservative parents, so I'm looking for a place nearby where I work so I can move out and stop hiding. all in all I think times are good but I still need to be careful.

I don't know you circumstances.
But if you going to transition you may want to think about
Talking to your parents. You don't want them to be the last to find out.

Hi Steph, welcome back amongst us. I'm sorry that your parents still cannot accept you after knowing for all of this time, but I'm glad that you are making some progress.

I would just urge you to prepare what you are going to say to your friend who is your boss very carefully. He may have dozens of questions, and you need to prepare some replies - even if for certain questions the answer turns out to be "I don't know right now".

Good luck both with talking to your boss and with finding somewhere reasonable to live.
