I have spent the last two nights at my friend’s country estate.
When he goes abroad he asks me to house sit for him.
I have the place to myself and he is happy for me to help myself to food and the drinks cabinet.
So yesterday afternoon I went for a walk in my woolly top, skirt, warm tights, ankle boots with a 3” heel and a leather jacket.
Latter in the evening I watched some T.V. and a video of ‘Swan Lake’ wearing a simple little black dress, tan hold-ups and black 4”strappy sandals.
I also painted my nails [silver] I have just started doing this as my nails are longer and a nice shape now.
Before going to bed in an old bedroom at the back of the house overlooking the lawns I had a couple of screwdrivers. [Well I would wouldn’t I]:heehee: and put on my silk nightie.
I slept well and woke up to a beautiful frost covering the lawns and hedges.
The Lady Suzy felt like she belonged there.
I have three weeks before he comes back and he is going abroad again in the summer.
I used to go on holidays with my ex and lay on a hot beach counting down the hours before going home.
I would pay double what I paid for those boring holidays to be here and this is free!
This is the icing on the cake of life girls.
